    摘要: An apparatus is provided for crimping fittings to hose assemblies. A pair of drive rollers are used for rotating a fitting. A pair of deflector rollers are positioned opposite of the drive rollers. A fitting and hose assembly is placed between the drive rollers and the deflector rollers. The deflector rollers and the drive rollers include a raised portion for producing a crimp in the fitting, thereby expeditiously securing the fitting to the hose and providing a leakproof connection.

    摘要: A bellows pipe construction and method for manufacturing are disclosed wherein helically wound coils of logitudinally corrugated strip are joined with an interlocking seam. Thereafter, the interlocking seam is deformed to position the edges of the strip in substantial parallelism with the axis of the pipe. The resulting pipe can be extended or shortened for installation and will further adjust and accommodate ground movement without substantial loss of strength.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for beading the bodies of metal containers, wherein container bodies are rolled between an inner tool and an outer tool, for instance inner and outer rolls, in order to increase their strength. To prevent sliding of the container at the inner and outer tools the container body is coaxially retained with respect to the inner tool. The outer tool is then radially moved, during the beading operation, towards the inner tool, and then the outer tool is rolled upon the inner tool and the intermediately disposed container body.

    摘要: An apparatus for the corrugation of pipes of plastically deformable material, particularly of cable sheathings of metal, through which the pipe is continuously passed, comprising a corrugator rolling bushing having an inside surface with a deformation rib which is helical (when annular parallel corrugations are to be produced on the pipe) of more than one thread, or with at least one deformation rib acting on successive points viewed in the longitudinal direction of the pipe (when helical corrugations are to be produced in the pipe), the corrugator rolling bushing being supported for free rotation in a rotatable corrugator head, the inside diameter of the corrugator rolling bushing being larger than the diameter of the pipe to be corrugated and the corrugator rolling bushing being supported eccentrically to the pipe. The ratio of the inner diameter of the inside diameter defined formed by the deformation rib or ribs to the outside diameter of the corrugated pipe in the region of a corrugation valley thereof is 2:1, or an integral multiple thereof, with a maximum deviation of 5%.

The second process is repeated to form a caulked and laminated iron core having a prescribed thickness. During the second process, the segment iron core pieces are caulked and laminated in the rotary laminating mechanism.
