摘要： A hinge, particularly for movable pieces of furniture, has at least two stop parts connected in an articulated manner (which is to say a hinge arm and a hinge cup) for fastening to pieces of furniture. The hinge has a damping device for damping the hinge movement, and has a restoring mechanism, by which an actuating element of the damping device can be moved into a starting position for the next damping stroke after damping has taken place. The damping device and the restoring mechanism are disposed as separate components on the hinge cup. The damping device, which has no restoring mechanism, is disposed on a lateral wall of the hinge cup, and the restoring mechanism is disposed on an opposing lateral wall of the hinge cup.

The first cam surface defines a groove. The cam is mounted on the shaft and adjacent to the follower. The cam has a second cam surface, and the second cam surface engages with the first cam surface. The second cam surface forms a protrusion, and the protrusion is received in the groove. The resilient member is placed around the shaft forcing the first cam surface to engage with the second cam surface.

The cover closer comprises: a mounting member mounted to the main body of a copying machine; a supporting member pivotally attached to the mounting member and operable to support the original cover; a first slider and a second slider which are slidably installed in the supporting member; and a compression coil spring inserted between these sliders and operable to urge the original cover in the direction to open, wherein at least one of the sliders is formed integrally with a spring cover which covers the compression coil spring even when the original cover is opened.

A separated type hinge apparatus comprises: an elastic casing; a first elastic member that provides a restoring force; a clutch device which is combined with one end of the first elastic member and controls the elastic force of the first elastic member to remain constant; a shaft penetratively combined through the clutch device in order to transmit a rotational force; and a spring fixing member which is coupled to the other end end of the first elastic member and has a gear groove to control a spring elastic force.

摘要： A leverage-type hinge is mounted in a portable electronic device with a base, a cover and a driven panel. The cover and the driven panel are connected pivotally to the base. The leverage-type hinge has an actuating sleeve and a leverage bracket. The actuating sleeve is rotated with the cover and has an actuating protrusion. The leverage bracket is mounted pivotally on the base and has a free end abutting the driven panel. When the cover is opened relative to the base, the actuating protrusion presses a receiving end of the leverage bracket to pivot the leverage bracket. Then the free end of the leverage bracket pushes the driven panel to tilt. Therefore, the driven panel is tilted while the cover is opened to facilitate utilization of elements on the driven panel.

摘要： A temporary checking device is provided that works in conjunction with elements of a vehicle hinge that remain in the vehicle's final configuration. The hinge includes a hinge pin rotatably connecting a door hinge bracket to a pillar hinge bracket. The checking device includes a spring portion that is disposed between the door hinge bracket and the pillar hinge bracket. The spring portion is compressed during movement of the door hinge bracket relative to the pillar hinge bracket from either of two rest positions. The spring portion urges the vehicle door affixed thereto back into one of the rest positions, thus allowing manufacturing operations such as painting, etc., to be performed on the vehicle.

The damping body is accepted in the damping shell and has a basic portion and a column portion extending from one end of the basic portion. The rotating slices are accepted in the damping shell and fixed around the column portion. The limiting slices are fixed in the damping shell and rotatably around the column portion of the damping body, the limiting pieces and the rotating pieces are staggeredly arranged. Damping oil is filled between the adjacent limiting slices and the rotating slices. The outer gasket is disposed on the basic portion of the damping body and pressed against the shell body.

摘要： A hinge assembly for a wireless communication device that pivotally connects a display housing member to a keypad housing member is described. The hinge assembly comprises an upper hinge arm, a lower hinge arm, and a rotating assembly. The upper hinge arm includes an upper hinge plate that is coupled to the display housing member. The lower hinge arm includes a lower hinge plate that is coupled to the keypad housing member. The rotating assembly comprises a first fastener, a second fastener and at least one conductive spring. The first fastener couples the upper hinge arm to one end of the rotating assembly. The second fastener couples the lower hinge arm to the other end of the rotating assembly. At least one conductive spring interfaces with at least one hinge end, and provides a ground path within the hinge assembly.
