Abstract: A personalized preview system to receive a request to access a collection of media items from a user of a user device. Responsive to receiving the request to access the collection of media items, the personalized preview system accesses user profile data associated with the user, wherein the user profile data includes an image. Abstract: Eyewear providing an interactive augmented reality experience between two users of eyewear devices to perform a shared group task. During a shared group task session, each eyewear displays the same image. An eye tracker in each eyewear detects a portion of the image the respective user is gazing at. Each eyewear generates an indication of the portion of the respective image each eyewear user is gazing at. The indication is shared with the other eyewear, and the eyewear display indicates the portion of the image the other eyewear user is gazing at. This allows each eyewear user to see what the other user is gazing at when collaborating and visually observing the same image.

A first input comprising one or more text characters is received. In response to receiving the first input, a two-dimensional (2D) representation of the one or more text characters is displayed. In response to detecting a second input, a preview interface is displayed. Within the preview interface, a 3D caption based on the one or more text characters is rendered at a position in a 3D space captured within the camera feed. A message is generated that includes the 3D caption rendered at the position in the 3D space captured within the camera feed.

Abstract: Augmented reality eyewear devices allow users to experience a version of our “real” physical world augmented with virtual objects. Augmented reality eyewear may present a user with a graphical user interface that appears to be in the airspace directly in front of the user thereby encouraging the user to interact with virtual objects in socially undesirable ways, such as by making sweeping hand gestures in the airspace in front of the user. Anchoring various input mechanisms or the graphical user interface of an augmented reality eyewear application to a wristwatch may allow a user to interact with an augmented reality eyewear device in a more socially acceptable manner. Combining the displays of a smartwatch and an augmented reality eyewear device into a single graphical user interface may provide enhanced display function and more responsive gestural input.
