    摘要: In a laser-assisted milling process at least one laser beam is directed onto the workpiece immediately upstream of the milling tool so as to heat at least one zone of the workpiece parallel to the cutting profile produced by the milling tool, and the laser beam is moved longitudinally over the workpiece in the same direction and at the rate of advance as the milling tool is moved longitudinally over the workpiece. The heated zone may be disposed immediately upstream of either or both of the points at which the cutting edge of the tool enters and exits the cutting zone of the workpiece, or it may be a zone parallel to the cutting profile and of a width equal to that of the cutting zone.

    摘要: A control device for the pivot of a variably settable movable vane mounted so that the pivot is integrated in an air manifold comprises a rotatable mounting for pivotally mounting the pivot in a bore in a platform fixed to the manifold by upstream and downstream flanges, a link for rotating the pivot to vary the setting of the vane, and a ring mounted outside the manifold and connected to the link for controlling the setting of the vane. The rotatable mounting for pivotally mounting the pivot in the bore comprises an end piece which is fitted on the pivot and which itself fits within a hollow friction bush fixed in the bore. The bush is provided with a slit extending partly around its circumference, and the upstream end of the link projects through the slit via apertures in the manifold and the platform to engage with an eye provided on the pivot end piece which receives a correspondingly shaped intermediate portion of the end piece. The pivot is hollow to allow hot de-icing air from the manifold into the interior of the vane.

    摘要: A valve is disclosed which is adapted to be disposed between a first chamber and a second chamber for the purpose of selectively interconnecting the two chambers or isolating them from one another. The valve comprises a body, a sleeve disposed therein and provided with a number of orifices which open into a first duct in the body for the delivery of fluid to the second chamber, and a piston which is slidable in the sleeve to close or open the orifices and which separates a feed chamber communicating with the first chamber from a control chamber communicating, by way of a second duct, with the throat of a venturi formed in the first duct. The opposite faces of the piston are thus both exposed to the fluid, and a spring is provided in the control chamber for biassing the piston towards closing the orifices.

    摘要: A combustion chamber, particularly for a turbomachine, has at least one generally axially extending wall provided with a plurality of through holes defining a multi-hole cooling system for the wall. The wall also has a plurality of dilution holes which affect locally the flow of burnt gases in the chamber, and the cooling through holes are oriented according to the local flow of burnt gases in the chamber. In particular the wall is subdivided into first zones, downstream of the dilution holes, in which the through holes are oriented substantially in countercurrent to the overall flow direction of the burnt gases in the chamber, second zones and third zones which are disposed on opposite sides of the first zones and in which the orientation of the through holes is inclined both axially and circumferentially, and a fourth zone covering the remainder of the wall and in which the through holes are inclined axially in the overall flow direction of the burnt gases.

    摘要: A layout for connecting two platforms of a turbomachine which support blades. A common clearance between the blades is occupied by a seal which includes a core placed in channels under the surface of the platforms and strips which close off the clearance and which are embedded in a layer of easily eroded material. Not only do the core and the strips close off the clearances, but the seal can be designed with a sufficient stiffness to oppose any excessive movement of the platforms. The strips can also be used alone without the seal.

    摘要: While remaining in one piece and unsectored, a nozzle permits a slight radial expansion of an assembly. The nozzle is formed by an inner platform mounted in a sliding manner with respect to a stator and an outer platform mounted in a free manner with respect to the case of the stator. Rods are fitted in a pivoting manner so as to radially guide and axially block upper parts of vanes, which are mounted in a sliding manner in the inner platform. The assembly is advantageously completed by gaskets. The nozzle can be used in high pressure turbines of turbojets.
