摘要： A sheet alignment device, that is included in a sheet finishing apparatus integrally mounted with an image forming apparatus to an image forming system or connected to the image forming apparatus, includes an accommodating unit configured to temporarily accommodate a paper sheet and a paper sheet stack including the paper sheet therein, and a sheet alignment unit configured to align the sheet stack including the paper sheet in a direction perpendicular to a sheet travel direction. The sheet alignment unit has a first alignment member configured to move between a sheet receiving position and a sheet alignment position along the direction perpendicular to the sheet travel direction so as to push the sheet stack and a second alignment member configured to move to a fixed position and remain stationary thereat so as to stop the sheet stack pushed by the first alignment member.

摘要： A fixing apparatus and an image formation apparatus are disclosed. The fixing apparatus includes two or more heaters with temperature detecting function that generate heat with electric current and detect temperature; a heating unit that includes the heater with the temperature detecting function; a film, a surface of which slides on the heating unit; a thermal fixing unit that is heated by the heating unit through the film for fusing a toner image that is yet-to-be fixed on a recording paper at a predetermined fixing temperature; a pressurization roller for pressing the recording paper to the thermal fixing unit; and a temperature control unit for controlling the temperature of the heater to be a predetermined temperature based on the temperature of the heater detected by the heater with the temperature detecting function.

The registration rollers correct skew of the sheet. A conveying path between the delivery rollers and the registration rollers is equal to or slightly longer than a length of a sheet in a maximum allowable size for skew correction in a conveying direction in which the sheet is conveyed on the conveying path.

A shift-amount adjusting unit adjusts a shift amount per unit time of a forwarding portion of the recording medium at a recording position or on an upstream side of the recording position in a forwarding direction. A weight is fixed to the forwarding portion of the recording medium exposed outside from an opening that is provided on a casing.

摘要： In a rotary anode type X-ray tube, a rotary anode and a rotary structure supporting the anode are arranged within the vacuum envelope. A stationary shaft has a middle section which is fitted into a cylindrical portion of the rotary structure, and a dynamic pressure type radial bearing is arranged between the cylindrical portion and the middle section. The stationary shaft also has a first section between one end of the middle section and one end of the stationary shaft, and a second section between the other end of the middle section and the other end of the stationary shaft, which are fixed to the vacuum envelope. A transverse stiffness of the second section is set to be larger than a transverse stiffness of the first section, and a center of gravity is positioned in the middle section.

摘要： A data sheet is composed of an upper part and a lower part. The upper part is used as a user interface including a reduced image of contents of a document. The lower part is an interface for a reading device such as a copy machine, including a code obtained by encoding the document. By use of the data sheet, the user can easily distribute or carry an electronic document data with the user. In addition, the user can recognize contents of the electronic document data by looking at the reduced image printed on the data sheet.

The image-reading device comprises a photoelectric converting element reading a first image from a subject copy, a reference-white member functioning as a reference white used in a white-shading correction, reading means for reading a second image from a constant range on a surface of the reference-white member by using the photoelectric converting element, averaging means for dividing image data of the second image into a plurality of blocks in a sub-scanning direction so that each of the blocks includes a plurality of lines and obtaining average values of image data of the lines in the blocks respectively, peak-value determining means for obtaining a peak value of the average values, and white-shading correcting means for performing the white-shading correction to image data of the first image by using the peak value as white-shading data.

A control unit controls the motor and the position detection unit, wherein the control unit causes the position detection unit to detect a position of the punch edge at a time of or prior to a motor stop in a first driving operation of the motor to perform the punching operation, and, when the detected position deviates from a desired position, the control unit performs restarting of the motor so that the punch edge is brought close to the desired position.
