A method of designing a logic circuit including pass transistors is disclosed. A logic group having a complementary variable in a given logical expression to be realized into the logic circuit is mapped using a multiplexer composed of a combination of the pass transistors. The number of transistors used in the logic circuit and the number of stages can be reduced by taking advantage of the multiplexer. When a logic circuit including both pass transistors and a multiple-input logic gate is designed, a logic group having a common variable in the given logical expression is mapped using the multiple-input logic gate. The number of transistors used in the logic circuit and the number of stages can be further reduced by taking advantage of the multiple-input logic gate. In order to ease the above mapping procedure, a complementary variable is identified and the given logical expression is optimized by grouping product terms of the logical expression by the complementary variable. Furthermore, a common variable is identified, and the logical expression is further optimized by grouping product terms of the logical expression by the common variable.

The present invention presents a high tensile strength cold rolled steel sheet having excellent formability, impact resistance and strain age hardening characteristics, and the production thereof. As a specific means, a slab having a composition which contains, by mass %, 0.15% or less of C, 0.02% or less of Al, and 0.0050 to 0.0250% of N at N/Al of 0.3 or higher, and has N in a solid solution state at 0.0010% or more, is first hot rolled at the finish rolling delivery-side temperature of 800null C. or above, and is subsequently coiled at the coiling temperature of 750null C. or below to prepare a hot rolled plate. Then, after cold rolling, the hot rolled plate is continuously cooled at a temperature from the recrystallization temperature to 900null C. at a holding time of 10 to 120 seconds, and is cooled by primary cooling in which the hot rolled plate is cooled to 500null C. or below at a cooling rate of 10 to 300null C./s, and furthermore if necessary, by secondary cooling in which a residence time is 300 seconds or less in a temperature range of the primary cooling stopping temperature or higher and 350null C. or higher. Provided is a steel sheet containing a ferritic phase having an average crystal grain size of 10 nullm or less at an area ratio of 50% or more, and if necessary, a martensitic phase at an area ratio of 3% or more as a second phase.

A grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having a multiplicity of fine grains having a diameter of about 3 mm or less on the surface of the steel sheet, in a numerical ratio of about 65% or more and of about 98% or less relative to the constituting grains that penetrate the sheet along the direction parallel to its thickness, and a method for producing the same. The fine grains are artificially created and regularly disposed with a random orientation in the steel sheet, and contribute to decreasing the strain susceptibility of the steel. More preferably, a treatment for finely dividing magnetic domains is applied on the surface of the steel sheet. Transformers based upon the steel sheet have excellent magnetic characteristics (iron loss and magnetic flux density) together with strain resistance, and the steel sheet has good practical device characteristics (building factor) after being assembled into a transformer.

The treated steel pipe is preferably diameter-reduction-rolled at a accumulated diameter reduction rate of at least about 20% below the Ar3 transformation point.
