Abstract: A spur gear transmission has at least two meshing, toothed spur gears. A covering wall surrounds the spur gears circumferentially and in the direction of their rotational axes. The covering wall has an inner contour adapted to the outer diameters of the spur gears. Two annular gaps which transition into each other are formed between the covering wall and the spur gears. The annular gap is substantially concentric to a rotational axis. The covering wall surrounds the two spur gears circumferentially only over a part of the circumference, with a part of the outer circumference of the two spur gears or one of the two spur gears protruding outwards out of the covering wall. The part of the two spur gears or of the one spur gear that protrudes out of the covering wall is positioned on the lower face of the spur gears.

Abstract: The invention relates to a spur gear transmission with at least two intermeshing spur gears the teeth of which are in meshing engagement with one another, and each of which are rotatable via an axis of rotation. The spur gear transmission has an enveloping wall which surrounds the two spur gears in circumferential direction and in the direction of the axes of rotation. The enveloping wall has an inner contour which is adapted to the outer diameter of the spur gears in such a manner that two annular gaps which merge into each other are formed between the enveloping wall and the spur gears. One annular gap respectively is arranged at least substantially concentrically with respect to a respective axis of rotation. The enveloping wall is formed by a two-part housing which is closed along a parting line and which has an upper part and a lower part.

Abstract: A drive device includes a speed modulation gearbox having a planetary gear mechanism and a casing, a main drive machine which is connected to an input shaft of the speed modulation gearbox, two auxiliary drives, each connected to the planetary gear mechanism via a drive connection. An output shaft of the speed modulation gearbox can be connected to a working machine. The planetary gear mechanism includes a ring gear, a sun gear, a planet carrier and several planet gears. For each auxiliary drive, an additional drive connection with a constant transmission ratio exists between the auxiliary drives and the input shaft or between the auxiliary drives and a driven shaft of the planetary gear mechanism. The additional drive connections can each be engaged or disengaged by a respective switching clutch, wherein the drive connections from the auxiliary drives to the speed modulation gearbox remain engaged in any case.

The number of the machine direction threads per 10 cm, viewed in the machine cross direction, lies in the range from 170 to 200, and the filling level of the machine direction threads lies in the range from 90% to 110%.
