Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for producing three-dimensional objects based on computer data by repeated application in layers of a medium containing particulate material and selective solidification of the medium, whereby a feedstock made of medium in a build space is provided and a layer application of the medium takes place on a surface of the feedstock bordering the build space at an angle β and a solidification cording to computer data occurs by use of a solidification unit, characterized in that the feedstock is not moved during build-up of the object.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for producing 3D components, particulate material being applied in layers to a building platform in a closed build space and printing fluid being selectively applied, and these steps being repeated until a three-dimensional component is obtained, the relative humidity or the relative solvent concentration in the atmosphere in the build space being set to a selected value, and/or the temperature in the build space being set to a selected temperature.
Abstract:
The present invention describes a method for building modes in layers, wherein a first material and subsequent thereto selectively a second material are applied in layers in a build space, and these two application steps are repeated until a desired model is obtained. The two materials form a solid object in a suitable mixing ratio, the first material including a particulate material and the second material being applied with the aid of a print head. The first material, the second material and/or the particulate material include one or more diamines and/or one or more dicarbonyl compounds as tree binder.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device (13) for constructing a laminar body (5) from a plurality of superimposed layers of free-flowing material, in particular particulate material, an a build platform (6) within a working area (11). The layers are solidified in locally predetermined regions by the actions of binders and are joined together so that at least one moulded body (4) is formed by the solidified and joined regions of the layers. The device comprises a discharging device (1) movable back and forth over the working area (11) in at least one discharge direction and having at least one discharge opening (14) from which the free-flowing material can be discharged in individual superimposed layers during the movement of the discharging device(1). According to the invention at least one body (8, 8a) defining the working area (11) in at least one discharge direction of the discharging device (1) and the build platform (6) are adjustable vertically relative to each other in accordance with the specific progress with which the laminar body (5) is being constructed, in such a manner that a surface of the at least one body (8, 8a) facing the discharge opening (14) is aligned flush with a laminar body (5) topmost layer that is yet to be produced or has already been produced, in order to dose the discharge opening (14) of the discharging device (1) and prevent the discharging device from discharging free-flowing material or in order to discharge free-flowing material not used for the laminar construction into a collecting container (7) when the discharge opening (14) is located above the body (8, 8a).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for manufacturing three-dimensional models by means of a 3D printing process, whereby a build platform for application of build material is provided and a support frame is arranged around the build platform, to which said support frame at least one device for dosing the particulate material and one device for bonding the particulate material is attached via the guiding elements and the support frame is moveable in a Z direction, which essentially means perpendicular to the base surface of the build platform. In so doing, the device provides a material feeding device having a particle material container to supply particulate material in batches from the storage area to the dosing apparatus and to do so with the least possible amount of shearing forces and without significant interaction with the atmosphere.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a multi-stage method for producing one or multiple molded bodies, the method comprising the following steps: a) constructing one or multiple molded bodies in layers by repeatedly applying particulate material by the 3D printing method; b. a presolidification step for achieving a presolidification of the molded body; c. an unpacking step, wherein the unsolidified particulate material is separated from the presolidified molded body; d. a final solidification step, in which the molded body receives its final strength due to the action of thermal energy. The invention also relates to a device which may be used for this method.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for producing three-dimensional models in a continuous process, comprising a build surface which has a first end in the direction of movement and a second end in the direction of movement, at least one dosing device and at least one solidification unit, characterized in that the build surface is designed to transport heavy components, and the components are transportable over the build surface essentially without distortion, and also comprising a method therefor.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for producing three-dimensional models by a layering technique, at least one print head (8) being provided for selective dispensing of at least one material onto a target surface in the form of droplets. The print head (8) is in engagement with a receptacle at two points spaced a distance apart, the position and alignment of the print head (8) relative to the target surface is steplessly adjustable in all spatial directions via these two points, and the receptacle and the target surface are movable in relation to each other.
