摘要: Water-based polyurethane dispersion methodology relating to a chain-extended polyurethane, characterized in that the polyurethane dispersion includes 2, 5, 7, 10-tetraoxaundecane. The water-based polyurethane dispersion is suitable as a non-hazardous water-based coating composition for coatings with a particularly good adhesion on plastic or rubber substrates. The solvent 2, 5, 7, 10-tetraoxaundecane contained therein imparts good film coalescing, good adhesive properties and high strength of the polyurethane dispersion.

摘要: A method of applying a gas-impermeable coating includes forming a polyelectrolyte complex suspension. The polyelectrolyte complex suspension is applied to a substrate. The substrate having the polyelectrolyte complex applied thereon is treated. The treating reduces salt content of the polyelectrolyte complex. The treating results in a gas-impermeable coating being formed on the substrate.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for establishing residual stresses in objects, in particular in coated objects, and to a method and an apparatus for coating objects. The method comprises: impinging a surface (8) of the object (5) with laser light and generating a hole or a pattern of holes and/or locally heated points in the object (5); establishing the surface deformations by an optical deforming measuring method after the object (5) is impinged by laser light; establishing the residual stresses present in the object (5) from the measured surface deformations, wherein the generation of the hole pattern is carried out by an optical scanning apparatus which comprises an optical deflection and/or modulation arrangement for controllable deflection and/or modulation of the laser light, and/or a focusing arrangement for controllable focusing of the laser light.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided for depositing a structured paint material on a surface. According to one embodiment, the method comprises introducing an initiator to a paint composition comprising methyl methacrylate (MMA) and a first retroreflective element to produce a liquid mixture, depositing the liquid mixture on a surface of a substrate to produce a layer of structured paint material, and depositing a layer of a second retroreflective element onto at least a portion of an upper surface of the deposited layer of structured paint material, and wherein a coefficient of retroreflected luminance of the layer of structured paint material is at least 1400 mcd/m2/lux.
