Compounds comprising phosphorescent metal complexes comprising cyclometallated imidazo[1,2-f]phenanthridine and diimidazo[1,2-a:1′,2′-c]quinazoline ligands, or isoelectronic or benzannulated analogs thereof, are described. Organic light emitting diode devices comprising these compounds are also described.
Abstract:
A mask at frequency domain comprises a plurality of amplitude patterns positioned on a first surface of the mask and a plurality of phase patterns positioned on a second surface of the mask. The amplitude patterns have different vertical thicknesses to change the amplitude of an exposing light, and the phase patterns have different vertical thicknesses to change the phase of the exposing light. Preferably, the amplitude patterns are made of inorganic material, such as molybdenum silicide (MoSi), and the phase patterns are made of transparent material, such as quartz. The amplitude patterns and phase patterns are the Fourier transform of a circuit layout, and their numbers and positions are correspondent with each other.

A measuring method for signal jitter comprises the following procedures: First, a first data signal is provided, and the first data signal is deemed equivalent to a second data signal, wherein frequency of the first data signal is a multiple (preferably odd) of that of the second data signal, and at the same time, the ascent and the descent edges of the second data signal are the same as that of the first data signal. The widths of the high and low levels of the second data signal are counted so as to generate an estimated jitter stream including the estimated jitter values of the ascent and the descent edges of the second data signal. Then, jitter distribution diagrams of the ascent and the descent edges are established based on the estimated jitter stream, so as to calculate an eye open (EO) value.

Phosphorescent materials are provided, where the materials comprise a coordination compound having at least one ligand L3 having Formula (I): wherein A and B are each independently a 5-membered or 6-membered carbocyclic or heterocyclic ring; wherein RA, RB, RC, and RD each represent mono, di, tri, tetra substitutions, or no substitution; wherein Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5, Z6, Z7, and Z8 are each selected from N or C; wherein at least one of Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4, Z5, Z6, Z7, and Z8 is N; wherein one of Z1, Z2, Z3, and Z4 is C that is bonded to N of A; wherein Z is selected from the group consisting of BR, NR, PR, O, S, Se, C═O, S═O, SO2, CRR′, SiRR′, and GeRR′; wherein R, R′, RA, RB, RC, and RD are described herein; wherein L3 is coordinated to a metal M1; and wherein L3 may be linked with other ligands to comprise a tridentate, tetradentate, pentadentate, or hexadentate ligand. Novel materials are provided, having a single phenyl or a chain of phenyls where there is a nitrogen atom on each end of the single phenyl or chain of phenyls. The nitrogen atom may be further substituted with particular thiophene, benzothiophene, and triphenylene groups. Organic light-emitting devices are also provided, where the novel materials are used as a hole transport material in the device. Combinations of the hole transport material with specific host materials are also provided.
Abstract:
Devices containing a particular combination of organic compounds are provided. In particular, the devices contain twisted aryl compounds having extended conjugation (i.e., the twisted aryl is substituted with an additional aryl group) in combination with dibenzothiophene or dibenzofuran containing host materials. The organic light emitting devices may provide improved stability color, lifetime and manufacturing. Compounds containing a twisted aryl having extended conjugation are also provided.

A novel electronic device is reported containing a host comprising an inorganic material with a band gap of less than 4 eV. The use of an inorganic material is advantageous due to its desirable physical properties, including increased stability and charge mobility.

An example fluid flow control member for use with a valve includes a body having a first seating surface to control a flow of fluid through the valve. The body defines a second seating surface opposite the first seating surface to control a flow of fluid through the valve. Additionally, the body defines an aperture to receive a stem of the valve, and a bore surrounded by the first seating surface to receive at least one of a seal or a sliding member each of which have a first surface to be engaged by a second surface of a spring seat coupled to the stem to control a fluid flow through the valve.
