摘要: A temperature and humidity alerting system (THAS) that is designed to alert a medical practitioner or a caregiver when a clothed, diapered or bedridden person has inadvertently urinated or defecated. The THAS is comprised of a data transmitting unit and a data receiving unit. The data transmitting unit utilizes a temperature indicating probe and a humidity indicating probe that each produce a signal when their threshold temperature and/or humidity levels are exceeded. The resulting signal is applied to a data receiving unit where the signal is further processed by a microprocessor that produces a data output signal and a humidity output signal that are applied to an alpha-numeric unit where the data is displayed.

摘要: A sectional rack includes at least four vertical supports, at least two shelves, and a plurality of clamping members. Each vertical support includes two laterally juxtaposed left and right posts, and a plurality of connecting members connected to between the two posts. Each clamping member defines a vertically extended receiving recess, which has two wing portions formed at two ends of an open side thereof, and is sized for one post of the vertical support to partially set therein, allowing the clamping member to assemble to the vertical support. The shelves are respectively provided at four corners with an outward-opened C-shaped clamping member each for tightly fitting around and thereby pushing the two wing portions of the clamping member toward each other to firmly clamp the post in the receiving recess, so that the four corners of the shelves are firmly connected to the posts of the four vertical supports.

摘要: A ship motion prediction system is described that includes a plurality of surface platforms and a central computer having a communications interface. The platforms each include a propulsion system for movement of the platform, a plurality of sensors operable for gathering sensor data relating to an environment proximate the platform, a processing device communicatively coupled to the propulsion system and the plurality of sensors, and a transceiver communicatively coupled to the processing device. The central computer includes a communications interface, and the processing device is programmed to transmit sensor data to the central computer via the transceiver and the communications interface. The central computer is programmed to transmit commands for operation of the propulsion system to the processing device via the communications interface and transceiver. The central computer is further programmed to predict an effect of the environments associated with the plurality of surface platforms on a water vessel or vessels operating within a vicinity of the plurality of surface platforms.

摘要: A method of making a semiconductor radiation detector includes the steps of providing a semiconductor substrate having front and rear major opposing surfaces, forming a solder mask layer over the rear major surface, patterning the solder mask layer into a plurality of pixel separation regions, and after the step of patterning the solder mask layer, forming anode pixels over the rear major surface. Each anode pixel is formed between adjacent pixel-separation regions and a cathode electrode is located over the front major surface of the substrate. The solder mask can be used as a permanent photoresist in developing patterned electrodes on CdZnTe/CdTe devices as well as a permanent reliability protection coating. The method is very robust and ensures long-term reliability, outstanding detector performance, and may be used in applications such as medical imaging and for demanding other highly spectroscopic applications.
