摘要： In an electric control apparatus for a four-wheel steering system including an electric motor the rotary angle of which is electrically controlled in accordance with a target steering angle of rear road wheels, and a hydro-mechanical tracer mechanism having a fluid control valve the valve element of which is drivingly connected to the electric motor to be displaced in proportion to the rotary angle of the electric motor, the tracer mechanism being arranged to steer the rear road wheels in proportion to a displacement amount of the valve element, the target steering angle is converted into a control value for rotation of the electric motor, and a drive signal indicative of the control value is applied to the electric motor. The electric control apparatus is designed to greatly change the control value to and from zero when the target steering angle is less than a predetermined small angle and to change the control value in proportion to the target steering angle when the target steering angle is more than the predetermined small angle.

摘要： An electric control apparatus for a four-wheel steering system is designed to calculate a rear wheel steering angle on a basis of a control rule corresponding with a steering mode selected from a plurality of rear wheel steering modes thereby to steer a set of dirigible rear road wheels at the calculated steering angle. The electric control apparatus is further designed to calculate a difference between new and old steering angles calculated when the selected steering mode has been changed to another one of the steering modes and immediately after change of the selected steering mode, to gradually decreasing an absolute value of the calculated difference at a predetermined time interval, to correct the new steering angle in accordance with the absolute value of the calculated difference until the absolute value becomes zero after change of the selected steering mode and to control an actual steering angle of the rear road wheels in accordance with the corrected new steering angle.

摘要： A signal transmitting device for transmitting signals from operating switches which are provided on a steering wheel of an automobile to an electric load provided on a body thereof, is disclosed. The device comprises one annular electrode which is provided on a lower end surface of a steering wheel boss rotating with the steering wheel and another annular electrode which is provided on an upper end surface of a steering column cover fixed to the body so as to be opposed to the one annular electrode. These annular electrodes form a capacitor. The device further comprises a signal generating circuit composed of a plurality of resistors having different resistance values which are selectively connected to the one electrode provided on the steering wheel by use of the above described switches, an RC oscillator circuit composed of the above described capacitor which is connected to another annular electrode on the steering column cover and a signal receiving circuit which detects the change in output frequency of the oscillator circuit. The signal generating circuit is provided on the steering wheel while the oscillator circuit and the signal receiving circuit are provided on the body. By operating the switches, the resistor to be connected to the electrode provided on the steering wheel is changed so that the impedance of the line including the capacitor is changed. As a result, the output frequency of the oscillator circuit is changed by steps.

摘要： A picture combining apparatus for concurrently using a single shooting television camera to pick up still pictures such as titles. In the picture combining apparatus, the level of a luminance signal in a still picture signal generated from the television camera is compared with a threshold level to generate a binary signal corresponding to the difference therebetween and the binary signal is stored in a memory. At a given time during the shooting of a background the content of the memory is read so that the binary signal is provided with a particular color or luminance level and is superimposed on a background picture signal from the camera. Thus, the camera generates an output signal corresponding to a picture comprising the still picture superimposed on the background.
