    Abstract: A communication method includes a first communication device that sends, to a second communication device, a physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) including indication information and M link adaptation blocks, where the indication information indicates a resource used for link adaptation, the M link adaptation blocks use different transmission parameters, and the resource is used to transmit the M link adaptation blocks. The second communication device returns, to the first communication device, a feedback result determined based on a measurement result corresponding to the M link adaptation blocks, so that the first communication device sends, based on the feedback result, a PPDU used for data transmission. Hence, the two communication devices complete link adaptation through one interaction, and do not need to perform a plurality of interactions.

    Abstract: A method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: generating, by an access point (AP), a first frame including P station information fields, each of which corresponds to one resource unit (RU) allocated to a first station (STA), wherein P is a positive integer greater than 1, each station information field further includes end indication information, which indicates whether the station information field is the last station information field in the P station information fields. The AP may allocate P RUs to the first STA, and indicate the P RUs to the first STA through the P station information fields in the first frame. According to the application, a resource allocation manner of the AP can be more flexible, a frequency selective gain of an OFDMA system can be effectively improved, and a system capacity can be increased.

    Abstract: Embodiments of this application relates to a multi-link communication setup method and a related apparatus. The method includes: a non-AP MLD sends an association request frame on a first link, to request multi-link setup. An AP MLD returns an association response frame on the first link, to notify whether multi-link setup succeeds. The AP MLD sets a second status code field of a multi-link element of the association response frame to a newly defined value, to indicate that a cause why a link is not accepted is that the first link is not accepted.     Abstract: An AID allocation method for a multi-link device, includes: An access point multi-link device generates and sends a first frame. Correspondingly, a station device receives and parses the first frame to obtain an AID that is allocated to the station device and carried in the first frame. The AID is neither a BSSID that can be supported by a first-type access point in the access point multi-link device nor an identifier of an access point in the access point multi-link device. The first-type access point is an access point for establishing a link between the station device and the access point multi-link device.
