Abstract: The present invention provides a data processing method, a node, a structure, and an apparatus. The method includes: receiving, by an aggregation node, a first non-access stratum message sent by user equipment UE, where the aggregation node includes at least two types of interfaces, and each type of interface is used to receive a first non-access stratum message of one radio access technology RAT type; converting, by the aggregation node, the first non-access stratum message into a non-access stratum message in a first format based on a RAT type of the first non-access stratum message, where the first format is a non-access stratum message transmission format supported between the aggregation node and a core-network control plane entity; and sending, by the aggregation node, the non-access stratum message in the first format to the core-network control plane entity.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose devices and methods for sending and/or processing a scheduling request. The scheduling request sending method includes: determining whether there has a first scheduling resource configuration corresponding to the first logical channel according to first indication information, when the first logical channel of a terminal device has to-be sent data and a first scheduling request (SR) is triggered; where the first indication information includes a first mapping relationship which indicates a correspondence between a logical channel of the terminal device and a scheduling resource configuration, and the first scheduling resource configuration includes a first uplink control channel resource corresponding to the first logical channel; and sending the first SR to an access network device by the first uplink control channel resource, when the first logical channel has a corresponding first scheduling resource configuration.

Abstract: A terminal device can modify, through an RRC link providing a normal service, an RRC link in which an RLF or channel quality deterioration occurs, so that the terminal device maintains RRC links to at least two network devices, thereby ensuring RRC reliability while the failed RRC link or the RRC link whose channel quality is poor is replaced in time. The method includes: sending, by a terminal device, a first link modification request to a first network device through a first RRC link; receiving, by the terminal device, an RRC link modification message and a transmission parameter that are sent by the first network device through the first RRC link; and setting up, by the terminal device, a target RRC link to a target network device based on the transmission parameter, and maintaining both the target RRC link and the first RRC link.

Abstract: A buffer status report processing method and an apparatus are disclosed. A network device determines a logical channel or a logical channel group for which a separate buffer status report BSR needs to be reported, and sends separate-BSR reporting indication information. A terminal device receives the separate-BSR reporting indication information sent by the network device, and reports the separate BSR for the logical channel or the logical channel group indicated in the separate-BSR reporting indication information. The network device receives the separate BSR reported by the terminal device, and determines, based on the separate BSR, uplink buffer data amount information corresponding to the logical channel or the logical channel group. According to the BSR processing method, resource scheduling accuracy of the network device is improved.

Abstract: A first access network device sends first configuration information to a terminal device, where the first configuration information includes multipath configuration information and a first trigger condition, the multipath configuration information includes configuration information of a plurality of second transmission paths, and each second transmission path includes a transmission link between the terminal device and one second access network device and an interface link between the first access network device and the second access network device. When a radio link between the terminal device and the first access network device meets the first trigger condition, the terminal device activates the multipath configuration information, and transmits a same RRC message to the first access network device by using a first transmission path and at least one second target transmission path. Accordingly, a same RRC message is transmitted by using a plurality of transmission paths, thereby improving RRC message reliability.

Abstract: A resource scheduling method includes: obtaining, by a terminal device, a first resource configuration parameter from an access network device; determining, by the terminal device, whether a first logical channel (LCH) supports the first resource configuration parameter, where the first LCH is an LCH on which there is to-be-sent data; and if the first LCH supports the first resource configuration parameter, determining, by the terminal device, a resource of the first LCH based on the first resource configuration parameter. According to a resource scheduling method provided in this application, after obtaining the first resource configuration parameter, the terminal device determines the resource of the first LCH by determining whether a mapping relationship exists between the first LCH and the first resource configuration parameter, to map the first LCH to the resource that matches the first LCH. This improves resource utilization.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications technologies, and disclose a method and an apparatus for recovering from a radio downlink failure. The method includes: monitoring a first radio link to determine whether a radio downlink failure occurs on the first radio link, where the first radio link is a currently connected radio link; if it is detected that the radio downlink failure occurs on the first radio link, starting a physical-layer-monitored automatic-recovery process for the first radio link and starting a Radio Link Control RRC connection re-setup process to set up a second radio link; and recovering from the radio downlink failure through either of the physical-layer-monitored automatic-recovery process and the RRC connection re-setup process.
