Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for a more flexible use of bandwidth parts (BWP) and cells for the various transmissions within the BFR procedure, such as the UL beam failure recovery request (BFRQ) and the DL beam failure recovery response (BFRR). The proposed framework allows these transmission to occur in BWPs with different Id, as well as on different cells. Example benefits include support for BFR on DL-only SCells by allowing the BFR UL transmissions on another cell with UL, support for sequential/parallel multi-cell BFRQ for improved BFR reliability and latency performance, and support for less UE-initiated BWP switching for BFR.

Abstract: The present application describes a WTRU including a non-transitory memory including instructions stored thereon for re-establishing a remote radio control (RRC) connection with a base station. The apparatus also includes a processor capable of executing instructions of determining, based upon a measurement in an active downlink bandwidth part (DL BWP), to initiate a random access channel (RACH) procedure. The processor also executes instructions of switching to a default uplink bandwidth part (UL BWP). The processor also executes instructions of initiating the RACH procedure. The process further executes instructions of transmitting a RA preamble using one of the RACH resources configured for the default UL BWP. The processor even further executes instructions of receiving a RA response. The processor yet even further executes instructions of switching from the default UL BWP to either an active UL BWP or another active UL BWP after re-establishing the RRC connection.

Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for prioritizing sidelink communication transmissions. In accordance with one example embodiment, a WTRU may include a processor, configured to receive vehicle-to-x communication (V2X) configuration parameters from a V2X network node. The V2X communication parameters may be associate with sidelink communications for a V2X service. The WTRU may send a user equipment (UE) information message to a gNB. The UE information message may include quality of service (QoS) information associated with the V2X service. The WTRU may further receive a radio resource control (RRC) configuration message from the gNB. The RRC configuration message may include an indication of a logical channel to be used for communication sidelink data associated with the V2X service, and one or more logical channel configuration parameters for the logical channel to be used for communication of the sidelink data associated with the V2X service. The WTRU may send at least one sidelink transmission comprising the sidelink data associated with the V2X service.

The OMA or NOMA mode that the UE operates after the transition may be requested by the UE, indicated by the gNB, and/or may be based on one or more rules for OMA-NOMA switching.

The first portion of the CAID may be decodable without having to process a payload portion of the message. It may be determined whether to continue processing one or more of the CAID or the message based on the first item of context information. The CAID may be used in discovery and/or association procedure(s).

Abstract: Embodiments contemplate wireless communication that may include sending machine type communication (MTC) application data from a services capability server (SCS) to an MTC user equipment (UE/WTRU) using a device trigger. The device trigger may be used to instruct an MTC device application to initiate communications with an SCS. Embodiments also contemplate that a first device trigger (DT) request may be received from a first wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) and a machine-type-communication inter-working function (MTC-IWF) may be determined in response to the first DT request. A second DT request may be sent to the MTC-IWF; and a first DT response may be received from the MTC-IWF. The first DT response may include a first information regarding a second WTRU.
