A method of transmitting a cell type information, which is transmitted by a base station in a wireless communication system, is disclosed. The present invention includes broadcasting a boundary point information (Z) between a cell identity of a public ABS (advanced base station) and a cell identity of a private ABS via an S-SFH SP3 (secondary-super frame header subpacket3). In this case, the boundary point information (Z) is a range information of cell identity partitions partitioned by granularity of 10 sequences or 20 sequences per segment and a total number of the cell identity partitions is 16. Further, the range information of cell identity partitions includes information that all cell identities are cell identities of the private ABS or information that all cell identities are cell identities of the public ABS except for cell identities of a macro ABS.

A method for saving the power of a receiver in a multi-carrier wireless communication system includes acquiring multi-carrier information from a transmitter on a primary carrier, entering one or more secondary carriers satisfying a predetermined power saving mode entry condition out of one or more secondary carriers included in the multi-carrier information into a power saving mode, and receiving data during a listening interval according to the power saving mode on the one or more secondary carriers entering the power saving mode. The multi-carrier information includes at least one of information about a plurality of available carriers, information indicating the primary carrier and the one or more secondary carriers out of the plurality of available carriers, and information about the power saving mode entry condition of the one or more secondary carriers.

A method is described for transmitting signals in a mobile communication system which splits an information block into a plurality of split-information blocks and performs a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) process upon each of the split-information blocks. A method is also described for reducing control information overhead by transmitting control information only through one control channel when splitting an information block and transmitting split-information blocks through a plurality of subframes or a plurality of resource blocks. The segmentation of the information block is performed in a physical layer to reduce medium access control (MAC) overhead and to simplify implementation.

A method for transmitting signal, at a mobile station, in a wireless communication system is provided. Inter-cell interference information may be different for each frequency partition according to using a FFR scheme. Also, a parameter for controlling interference level between base stations may be different for each frequency partition. The present invention is advantageous in that, when uplink transmission is performed, system throughput and cell edge-user throughput are improved and inter-cell interference level control is efficiently performed.

The present invention relates to a femto base station. More particularly, the present invention relates to a method for transmitting a common control channel and to a femto base station for the same. The present invention relates to a method for transmitting a common control channel, comprising a step in which the femto base station acquires segment information from a macro base station which overlays the femto base station; a step of identifying, using the segment information, a time segment used by the macro base station in transmitting the common control channel; and a step of transmitting a common control channel of the femto base station on a time segment other than the time-segment identified in the previous step.
