    摘要： With the growing demand of oil products in the world, this invention can help curb the fuel consumption rate of trucks/large motor vehicles without reducing peak power outputs. A vehicle having a “dual series” hybrid power systems includes two liquid fueled internal combustion engines, each engine having a generator directly connected. There is an electric motor for drivability directly connected to one or more ground engaging wheels. A first electrical storage device (battery pack) stores electricity that powers the electric motor. Two voltage reducers are coupled between both of the generators and the first electrical storage device and has an accessory voltage output, which has a lower voltage than the charging power output of the generators, to keep the accessory second electrical storage device fully charged.

In other embodiments, the image on the auxiliary output device is selectively frozen or displays a pre-set image while the image on the output device changes. In this way, the displayed content on the auxiliary output device is selectively controlled, which allows for a more effective presentation.

A support mast that telescopes into and is adjustable within the base supports a work support head that includes an adjustable cross bar on which a row of pivoting caster wheels are mounted. An alternative embodiment includes a ramp for guiding sagging ends of work-pieces up onto the caster wheels. Both the height and angle between the adjustable cross bar and floor are adjustable after the position of the support mast has been adjusted in order to position the support head in roughly the correct location.

    摘要： A system and method to modularize a signal observation process to allow continual adaptation as the independent modules evolve. Receivers, digitizers, storage, and synchronization means form discrete subsystems that can be integrated together yet still be independently upgraded or modified. The integrated system is controlled by software that allows continuous deterministic signal observation for arbitrarily long periods of time. The software enables a schedule-based temporal collection of signals through a method that controls the tuning of the receivers and the downloading of data to storage media. The control software also allows automatic distributed operation of multiple sites in synchronization to within parts per million or better.

    摘要： This invention is a rapid low-cost technique for manufacturing thick high-performance carbon and ceramic composites in the form of uniformly densified near-net shaped structures. This is accomplished by impregnating composite preforms with low-viscosity wetting monomers which undergo polymerization followed by pyrolysis reactions in the preform ultimately creating ceramic and/or carbon matrices. Since the monomers possess low-molecular-weight they have low viscosities. Thus, if they wet the fiber and partially-densified preform they can easily impregnate even the smallest pores. Once inside the preforms, polymerization of the monomers is then initiated, resulting in a liquid matrix-precursor of the high molecular weight needed to produce a superior matrix (upon pyrolysis) with high efficiency.

    摘要： A detachable chassis base for a tactical rifle is presented. The lower chassis receiver assembly can have a detachable chassis base that substantially selectively attaches to the chassis receiver interface. The detachable chassis base can be completely removable, or it can be hingedly attached to provide access without completely removing the chassis base, or a combination thereof. Multiple combinations of parts included in the detachable chassis base are possible. Several variations and combinations are illustrated herein, although others are contemplated.
