摘要： A moving light tester includes plural sensors, each of which can test a function of the moving light. A conveyor can move the light between the sensors. Once tested, information about the test is used to characterize the light, to determine if it needs repair, or can be re rented. The information can also be used to create inventory lists, and bills for damage. The testing can include automated testing for gobos, colors, noise, heating and movement, or other tests.

The method is employed in an image capturing apparatus which has a storage and is connected to the network. The method of capturing image and accessing captured image via the network includes: receiving a network scan instruction to initialize an image capturing operation; receiving an identification code corresponding to an image file to initialize an image accessing operation. The image capturing operation includes: scanning a document to generate the image file and storing the image file in the storage; and receiving the identification code corresponding to the image file and storing the identification code in the storage. The image accessing operation includes: searching for the identification code; and transmitting the image file corresponding to the identification code via the network.

The different connectors can be automatically used to automatically test a wire by coupling the cable between two different connectors. The testing then switches power to different pins in the connectors and automatically detests continuity and short-circuit among those connectors. The results can be displayed and/or printed on a label. In addition to the continuity test, the system can automatically detects things like wrong gauge, pin placement, links, and capacitance. The connectors can be arranged by power handling connectors, and signal handling connectors.

The lights can be mechanically and electrically connected to the board, and once connected, can be tested in multiple ways without reconfiguring or removing the lights. The board has a connector that can be plugged in at various locations, and the board can also be handled by mechanical devices. In this way, once the light is connected to the board, it does not need to be re-handled. In addition, lights can be tested in different orientations.
