摘要: A system, method and computer program product for monitoring availability of end user devices needed for performing tasks. The system comprises a first network including one or more devices associated with an end user, at least one device adapted for communicating with a service provider over a second network, the service provider providing network-based services in the system. The system includes a memory storage device for maintaining information of tasks associated with an end user, the information including recommended end-user devices adapted to perform the tasks, the information being accessible to at least one end-user device. At least one end-user device detects non-availability or performance deficiencies of any end-user device required in performing end-user tasks, and communicates with the service provider for invoking network-based services to facilitate correcting non-availability of any end-user device. Such a system, method and computer program product enables students to receive these reminders and alerts, to order the necessary upgrades from suppliers via web services, and to monitor delivery from a single user interface provided on one of their devices.

摘要: A solution for managing a business engagement between a provider and a client is provided. The business engagement includes one or more business solutions for which a client risk preference level is obtained. One of a plurality of engagement types is also obtained for the business solution(s) based on a business goal for the business solution(s). A pricing model for each business solution is then selected based on the engagement type and the client risk preference level. Further, the pricing model can be selected based on additional factors, such as a provider risk preference level, a business value for the business solution, and/or the like. The pricing model can comprise a risk/gain sharing pricing model having a fixed price and/or variable price pricing structure. Performance data for the business solution can be obtained and used as feedback for future business engagements and/or to implement the risk/gain sharing pricing model.

摘要: A server system on a network such as the World Wide Web aggregates and stores information about the content of Web pages served by a server on a network. A server process receives one or more requests for Web pages from requesters connected to the network. Upon receiving the request, the server produces a requested Web page and serves the Web page to the requester. The Web pages have with one or more content elements in addition to one or more metadata entries. The metadata entries are associated with the content elements of the respective Web page produced. The system also creates and maintains a log having a plurality of records. Each record has requester fields and metadata fields. A logger process stores the metadata entries contained in each of the Web pages in one or more of the metadata fields, and stores a requester identification, associated with the requester, in the requester field of the record associated with the respective Web page.

摘要: Building a runtime dialog is provided. An initial answer to an initial question is received from a user. A state of a conversation thread is created based on the initial answer. A next question to ask is automatically selected by a processor based on the updated state of the conversation thread. The next question is presented to the user. A next answer to the next question is received. The state of the conversation thread is updated based on the next answer. The selecting, presenting, receiving, and updating are repeated until a criterion is satisfied.

摘要: An example embodiment disclosed is a system for automated model extraction of documents containing flow diagrams. An extractor is configured to extract from the flow diagrams flow graphs. The extractor further extracts nodes and edges, and relational, geometric and textual features for the extracted nodes and edges. A classifier is configured to recognize process semantics based on the extracted nodes and edges, and the relational, geometric and textual features of the extracted nodes and edges. A process modeling language code is generated based on the recognized process semantics. Rules to recognize patterns in process diagrams may be determined using supervised learning and/or unsupervised learning. During supervised learning, an expert labels example flow diagrams so that a classifier can derive the classification rules. During unsupervised learning flow diagrams are clustered based on relational, geometric and textual features of nodes and edges.

摘要: Shared data management in software-as-a-service platform may provide a common object data schema for one or more data objects and one or more data attributes associated with said one or more data objects stored in a master database. A plurality of applications may be enabled to be deployed dynamically on a platform and interoperate by sharing said data values stored in the master database. Data trading is enabled in which applications request permissions to read from or write to, or both, the master database, and in which the requests are mediated by granting or denying permissions.
