摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may transmit an expiration indication to a receiving device as part of a scheduling message for a transport block. The expiration indication may provide information related to an expiration time for the transport block. If the expiration time is reached prior to successful reception by a receiving device, the receiving device may assume that the transport block has expired and may refrain from transmitting a retransmission grant, or may empty a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) buffer associated with the transport block. If the transmitting device fails to successfully receive an indication from the receiving device of a successful reception of the transport block prior to the expiration period, the transmitting device may also assume that the transport block has expired.

摘要: Aspects of the present disclosure provide a wireless device that communicates with another wireless device utilizing self-contained subframes. The wireless device communicates with a scheduling entity utilizing a plurality of self-contained subframes that include a first subframe and a second subframe. Each of the self-contained subframes includes an uplink (UL) portion and a downlink (DL) portion. The wireless device further receives DL control information from the scheduling entity in the DL portion of the first subframe, and transmits UL data that includes a plurality of reference signal bursts to the scheduling entity in the UL portion of the first subframe. The plurality of reference signal bursts are uniformly spaced in at least a portion of the UL portion of the first subframe.

A method may include receiving a control transmission from a base station, identifying a control channel search space organized according to a nested structure, the control channel search space including a plurality of control channel candidates associated with one or more control channel elements (CCEs) and an aggregation level, and searching the received control transmission to identify a control channel for the UE using the plurality of control channel candidates. Another method may include determining whether to reorder resource element group (REG) indices for a received control channel transmission based, at least in part, on a transmission mode associated with the control channel transmission. Another method may include decoding a received control channel transmission, where the downlink control information (DCI) formats may be constrained to an integer multiple of a predetermined base number of bits N.

A user equipment (UE) receives one or more data blocks associated with a plurality of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processes. The UE may transmit an individual feedback for each of the one or more data blocks indicating whether the data block is received successfully. The UE may transmit a feedback history report for a set of HARQ processes less than all of the plurality of HARQ processes.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices are described for fountain hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) for reliable low latency communication. A wireless device may transmit a data block based on a low latency operational mode. The device may then transmit a number of redundancy versions of the data block prior to determining whether an acknowledgement (ACK) has been received. In some examples the ACK may be an augmented ACK, which may be based on the number of redundancy versions received prior to successfully decoding the data block, and which may include an additional resource request. In some examples, the device may select an updated modulation and coding scheme (MCS) based on the augmented ACK. In some examples, the device may increase a number of frequency resources (e.g., component carriers) used for transmission based on the augmented ACK.
