Disclosed is a pressure-adjusting mechanism comprising a pressure-adjusting handle, a pressure-adjusting screw for adjusting resilient force of a spring member by making rotation integrally with the pressure-adjusting handle, and a pressure-setting scale for indicating a preset pressure value by rotating the pressure-adjusting handle in a predetermined direction. As a result, it is possible to obtain the pressure-adjusting mechanism which is constructed integrally with a pressure control valve owing to a simple structure and which makes it possible to easily adjust the pressure by an operator.

The present invention relates to a method for monitoring a computer system in which one manager computer is connected to a plurality of agent computers over a network. The manager computer sends information on the types of log to be collected to the plurality of agent computers. In response, the plurality of agent computers collect the specified types of log. Then, the plurality of agent computers send the collected logs to the manager computer. Thus, the plurality of agent computers are able to collect the types of log specified by the manager computer.
摘要:
A method, apparatus and computer program for preferentially displaying partial information related to one of a plurality of network equipment connected to a network being managed by a network management system. The partial information is required for network management to be conducted from the network equipment. A managed terminal is included in each network equipment connected to the network. The network management system collects management information from each of the network equipment connected to the network and stores the management information therein. When conducting network management from the network equipment, the managed terminal thereof sends a request for network management to the network management system. The network management system transfers a program for managing the network to the managed terminal. The transferred program informs the network management system of the identification of the managed terminal and the network management system transfers partial information related to the managed terminal to the managed terminal based on the identification. The managed terminal then displays the transferred partial information so that network management can be conducted from the network equipment.

A system for reading characters on an object is provided. The system first obtains color data relating to each color component from the object in which characters expressed in a first color and information expressed in at least a second and a third color which differ from the first color are mixed. Then the color data relating to each color component of the background color of the object and the information expressed in the second and the third color other than the characters are converted in such a way that the influence on the color data relating to each color component of the characters expressed by the first color becomes minimal. After that, only the color data related to each color component of the characters expressed in the first color is extracted by converting the color relating to the each color component.

There is disclosed a mass production process of 1,4,5,8-naphthalene tetracarboxylic acid with high collection efficiency. In the presence of an alkaline metallic catalyst, 1,3-butadiene was added to the ethyl radicals of ethyl-p-xylene, and cyclized to 1,4,5,8-tetramethyl-1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene which was further dehydrogenated and oxidized to obtain 1,4,5,8-naphthalene tetracarboxylic acid, so that a constant supply of inexpensive 1,4,5,8-naphthalene tetracarboxylic acid can be achieved as an intermediate raw material for dye, pigment, resins, or the like.

A cationic dye-dyeable polyester resin composition comprising a cationic dye-dyeable polyester resin and a melt viscosity depressant.Addition of the melt viscosity depressant to the cationic dye-dyeable polyester resin reduces the melt viscosity of the resin without decreasing the intrinsic viscosity thereby making the resin melt-spinnable. A cationic dye-dyeable polyester fiber with high strength can be obtained from the polyester resin composition.

A purified desired isomer which is either 3,4- or 3,5-dimethylphenol is separated with a high yield from a dimethylphenol-containing fraction which contains both 3,4- and 3,5-dimethylphenols. The fraction is distilled so as to give a distillate which is enriched with the desired dimethylphenol isomer to be separated and which contains at least 35% by weight of the desired isomer. The desired DMP isomer is crystallized from a melt of the enriched distillate in two stages with at least part of the filtrate separated from the precipitated crystals in the second crystallization stage being circulated to the first crystallization stage. The enriched distillate is introduced into the first crystallization stage when it contains the desired isomer in a concentration of from 35% to less than 70% by weight, or it is introduced into the second crystallization stage when it contains the desired isomer in a concentration of 70% by weight or higher.

A pharmaceutical composition for relieving side effects of platinum-containing drugs, containing an effective component of ulinastatin is provided. The platinum-containing drugs such as cisplatinum cause serious side effects including kidney dysfunction. The kidney dysfunction, particularly the one caused by a disorder or uriniferous tubule may be significantly relieved by administering the ulinastatin-containing agent of the present invention.
