摘要: An image processing apparatus includes an interface connected to a microscope having a stage having a placement surface on which a sample including a target is placed, an objective lens that zooms in an image of the sample, and an image pickup element that forms the image of the sample, a controller, and a memory. The controller causes a focus of the objective lens to shift in a vertical direction to the placement surface, and causes the image pickup element to be exposed, thereby obtaining a first image. The controller performs a uniform shift of the focus in the vertical direction and a uniform linear shift thereof in a parallel direction to the placement surface, and causes the image pickup element to be exposed, thereby obtaining a second image. The controller calculates a position of the target in the vertical direction based on the first and second images.

摘要: To form a clear image of a body tissue. An image forming apparatus (1) forms a standard image (P1) and an other picked-up image (PC2) by connecting standard picked-up images (PC1) at standard positions (Z1) to each other and connecting other picked-up images (PC2) at other positions (Z2) to each other with respect to imaging points (QC). In addition, the image forming apparatus (1) determines whether or not air bubbles (BB) are contained in an embedding substance (103) on the basis of the standard image (P1) and substitutes the standard image (P1) with the other image (P2) in a part where the air bubbles (BB) are contained to form a body tissue image (PR). In this manner, the image forming apparatus (1) can form the body tissue image (PR) which is nearly completely clear.

摘要: A connector provided on a projector has an RF chip. A plug connected to the connector has an RF chip at a position opposite to the RF chip of the connector. When a protruding section of the plug is inserted and fit into an aperture section of the connector, the RF chip of the plug and the RF chip of the connector perform wireless communication with each other in a non-contact state. Thus, a connecting tool can be easily attached to/detached from a receiving tool without breaking a terminal due to contact such as in a case where a conventional contact type terminal is used.

摘要: A double-structure silicon on insulator (SOI) substrate with a silicon layer, an insulation film (silicon oxide film), a silicon layer, and an insulation film in this order from the side of the surface. The upper-layer insulation film is formed so as to have a uniform distribution of depth while the lower-layer insulation film is formed so as to have a non-uniform distribution of depth so that a thick portion may be formed in the silicon layer along a predetermined path. The refractive index of Si is 3.5 and the refractive index of SiO2 is 1.5. The thick portion of the silicon layer provides a core and the insulation films corresponding to this thick portion provide clads, thereby forming an optical waveguide along the predetermined path. The silicon layer at the side of the surface has a uniform thickness, thereby enabling characteristics of MOS devices fabricated on various portions of the silicon layer to be met with each other easily and facilitating a design of the electrical device as a whole.

摘要: A microscope system includes an accommodation unit, a stage, an optical system, an image pickup unit, a movement mechanism, a control unit, an image processing unit, and a display unit. The accommodation unit is capable of accommodating a plurality of specimens. On the stage, each of the specimens loaded from the accommodation unit is placed. The optical system includes a lens for spherical aberration correction. The image pickup unit is capable of capturing a partial image of each of the specimens placed on the stage, via the optical system. The movement mechanism moves the lens for spherical aberration correction along an optical axis. The control unit controls movement of the lens for spherical aberration correction by the movement mechanism and correct spherical aberration. The image processing unit combines the partial images captured by the image pickup unit and generate a composite image. The display unit displays the generated composite image.

摘要: A semiconductor device having a substrate that contains an insulating layer and a semiconductor layer provided on the insulating layer. The semiconductor also has an optical waveguide that is formed along a predetermined path. This optical waveguide is formed by making the semiconductor layer non-uniformed in thickness thereof. The semiconductor further has a photoreceptor having MISFET containing a floating channel body that is formed on a position of the semiconductor layer in which electric field of light guided inside the optical waveguide exists and a gate for forming channel formed on a front surface side of the channel body.
