    摘要: Ink jet recording sheet has excellent coloring properties for dye ink as well as pigment ink, a high degree of brightness, and excellent preservability for white paper portions. The ink jet recording sheet includes: a paper supporting medium made by machining pulp; an undercoating layer including at least a pigment and an adhesive; and an ink receiving layer including at least a pigment and an adhesive, the undercoating layer and the ink receiving layer being disposed on at least one surface of the paper supporting medium, and the ink receiving layer being located outermost thereof, wherein the undercoating layer includes titanium dioxide as the pigment and at least one emulsion type adhesive selected from acryl polymers, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, or vinyl acetate polymers; and the ink receiving layer includes silica having an average secondary particle size of 3 to 11 μm as the pigment, and a cationic ink fixing agent.

    摘要: In the apparatus for searching corresponding points between an input image and a reference image, a reference image and an input image are received through an image input section. The division process section produces a reference partial image and an input partial image. The similarity degree image production section respectively produces similarity degree images whose similarity degree between the reference partial image and the input partial image. The accumulation-addition processing section recursively performs an accumulation-addition of a plurality of similarity degrees. Based on the result, the corresponding points determination section determines the corresponding points between the input image and the reference image.

    摘要: The invention relates to an ink jet recording process including an ink jet recording step of discharging one or more kinds of inks based on entered image information to record an image of one or more colors on a recording medium, and an overcoat step of forming a protective layer for covering the image on the recording medium, wherein control tables corresponding to changes in characteristics of the color(s) which occur by covering the color(s) output onto the recording medium with the protective layer are prepared beforehand, and in the ink jet recording step, discharge control of the ink(s) is performed in accordance with the control tables to record the image, thereby making it possible to faithfully reproduce the entered image information. Also disclosed is an ink jet recording apparatus suitable for the ink jet recording process.

When an image is formed on the printing medium having easy-separating means disposed inside and entirely along the peripheral edge thereof, a print area is extended slightly to the peripheral edge beyond the easy-separating means. When the width of a non-print area left in the peripheral edge of the print area is separated at a part of the easy-separating means, an image is formed spaced from the sides of each of the non-print areas by a predetermined distance.

    摘要: An ink jet recording medium is disclosed, comprising a base having provided on one side thereof a recording layer having an ink receiving layer whose surface is smoother than plain paper's and on the other side thereof a coating layer comprising an aqueous binder containing 10 to 40% by weight of a higher fatty acid salt to a coating weight of 0.1 to 0.3 g/m.sup.2. An ink jet recording medium is also disclosed, comprising a base having provided on only one side thereof a recording layer, said recording layer having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.65 to 0.75 in mutual friction, the back surface of said base having a coefficient of dynamic friction of 0.15 to 0.25 in mutual friction, and the coefficient of static friction between said recording layer and said back surface is 0.55 to 0.65. The ink jet recording medium is prevented from being double-fed and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing high quality images. The ink jet recording layer is freed from feed trouble and can be transferred at improved precision, thereby providing images of high resolving power.
