摘要: A decorative sheet includes a primary film layer and a surface protection layer, the surface protection layer has a gloss level of 15 or less, the surface protection layer includes on a surface thereof a ridged portion protruding in a ridged pattern and thus has an irregular shape formed on the surface, the surface protection layer contains an ionizing radiation-curable resin as a main material, the ionizing radiation-curable resin contains as a main component a trifunctional acrylic resin having a repeating structure, the repeating structure is any of an ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, or & ε-caprolactone structure, the number of repetitions of the repeating structure is 3 or more, and vinyl groups contained in the ionizing radiation-curable resin is 20% or less relative to carbonyl groups contained in the ionizing radiation-curable resin.

摘要: An improved protected graphics assembly according to the invention comprises the following sequential layers: optionally, at least one adhesive layer; at least one graphics layer; and at least one outwardly exposed polymer layer that is essentially free of low surface energy materials and has a gloss value of greater than 90 when tested according to ASTM D2457-03 at a 60-degree angle. The assembly is beneficially applied to a variety of articles and used in a variety of related methods. In an exemplary embodiment, a race car comprises a protected graphics assembly that comprises: optionally, at least one adhesive layer; at least one outwardly exposed polymer layer that is essentially free of low surface energy materials; and at least one graphics layer substantially protected from exterior exposure by the polymer layer.

摘要: A fully coextruded shrink film is disclosed. The film includes a first polar polymer layer, a bonding layer, and a sealant layer. The bonding layer includes a blend of a bonding material and a compatibilizer material. The sealant layer is a first outer layer. The bonding layer including the compatibilizer material is positioned between the first polar polymer layer and the sealant layer. The film includes a shrinkage value of greater than 10% in each of the machine direction and the transverse direction when tested according to ASTM D2732-03 using a bath temperature of 90 degrees Celsius (° C.).

摘要: This method for producing a resin film includes the following: preparing, as a starting material, at least either a film label that includes an ink layer and a resin layer or a resin bottle to which the film label is fitted; recovering a thermoplastic resin having a specific gravity of less than 1 from the starting material; and obtaining a resin film having a specific gravity of less than 1 by extrusion molding, while having a molding material contain the recovered thermoplastic resin, wherein the recovering includes the following: dividing the starting material or the resin layer into individual pieces; removing the ink layer from the film label or each piece of the film label; and subjecting the starting material, the resin layer or pieces of the starting material or the resin layer to specific gravity separation.

A method of producing a coated polymeric multilayer article, the method including the steps of: forming a polymer substrate including a first polyolefin-based layer and an adhesion layer on at least one surface of the polyolefin-based layer; and applying a coating layer composition on at least one surface of the adhesion layer.

The core layer comprises a PHA resin at an amount of more than 50 wt % of a total weight of the core layer and a modifier X, the modifier X includes PLA, PLA copolymers, PBSA and PCL; the heat sealant layer comprises a PLA resin and a modifier Y, the modifier Y including PBSA and PCL resins is at an amount of about 20 wt % to 95 wt % of the total weight of the heat sealant layer. The composite film has low SIT and improved home compostability.

摘要: Object: The present disclosure provides a film having a low gloss appearance and excellent scratch resistance, and a surface coating composition that can be used in the production of such a film. Resolution Means: The film of one embodiment of the present disclosure includes a scratch resistant surface layer containing a binder containing a urethane resin, urethane resin beads having an average particle diameter of 3 μm to 30 μm, hard particles having an average particle diameter of 5 μm to 45 μm; and nanosilica particles. The surface layer contains the hard particles in an amount of 30 parts by mass to 500 parts by mass per 100 parts by mass of the binder. The gloss of the surface layer is approximately 5.5 GU or less at 60 degrees.

The multilayer shrink film having a free shrink of at least 60%, 65% and 70% at 85 #C measured in accordance with ASTM D2732. The multilayer shrink film having an oxygen transmission rate of no more than: 5, 10, 15, or 20 cubic centimeters (at standard temperature and pressure) per square meter per day per 1 atmosphere of oxygen pressure differential measured at 0% relative humidity and 23 #C measured according to ASTM D-3985. The multilayer shrink film having a haze after shrink of less than 50 measured in accordance with ASTM D 1003.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to multilayer films, labels, and packages. In one aspect, a multilayer film having at least one matte surface comprises (a) an outer layer comprising (i) 30 to 99.5 weight percent of a first low density polyethylene having a density of 0.919 g/cm3 to 0.940 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) of 0.3 to 5 g/10 minutes, (ii) 0.1 to 20 weight percent of polymer particles having a core and a shell structure wherein the core comprises a first polymeric material having a first refractive index and the shell comprises a second polymeric material having a second refractive index that is different from the first refractive index, and (iii) optionally, up to 50 weight percent of a first polyethylene having a density of 0.925 g/cm3 to 0.970 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) of 0.8 to 10 g/10 minutes, each based on the total weight of the outer layer; and (b) a second layer in adhering contact with the outer layer comprising (i) 1 to 80 weight percent of a second low density polyethylene having a density of 0.919 g/cm3 to 0.940 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) of 0.3 to 5 g/10 minutes, and (ii) 20 to 99 weight percent of a second polyethylene having a density of 0.925 g/cm3 to 0.970 g/cm3 and a melt index (I2) of 0.8 to 10 g/10 minutes, each based on the total weight of the second layer; wherein the outer layer has a gloss of less than 50% as measured by ASTM D2457 at an angle of 45°.
