摘要： An apparatus and method is provided for optimizing LED driver efficiency. The present invention offers low cost solutions for powering LEDs while minimizing overall power dissipation in devices powered by a depletable power source. Low system cost is attained using a charge pump to increase LED drive voltage level and implementing combinations of drive techniques to overcome the inefficiency of the charge pump. A switch bypasses the charge pump when depletable power source output voltage is sufficient to directly drive an LED load. At certain output voltage levels, the switch can be opened causing the charge pump to boost drive voltage. The output voltage may also be PWM modulated to drive the LED load and, at some voltages, the depletable power source may drive the LED load directly. Efficiency levels of 90-97% are attainable.

When a user seeks to access the distinguished content from a client computer system using a URL associated with the distinguished content, the facility determines whether a user identifier is represented in the URL. If a user identifier is represented in the URL that is different from a user identifier that is persistently stored by the client computer system, the facility determines that the distinguished content has been shared with a user identified by the user identifier that is persistently stored by the client computer system by a user identified by the identifier represented in the URL.

The first two contestants both form potential award offers. The game then provides the greater of the two potential award offers to the player as an initial offer. This initial sequence alternatives includes more than two picks, contestants and potential offers. The offer acceptance feature arises after the initial offer. The player must decide whether to keep the initial offer or forego that offer for a final offer. If the player keeps the offer the game provides that initial offer to the player and ends if the player rejects that initial offer, the game proceeds to build a third and final offer, which is then provided to the player automatically.

摘要： A lid having a reclosable spout for providing a reclosable drink-through opening therewithin, for use with disposable drinking cups. The lid comprises a reclosable tab, an integral hinge and a sealing edge wherein the reclosable tab may be moved about the integral hinge to an open position by pulling the reclosable tab away from the sealing edge; or to a closed position by pushing the reclosable tab against the sealing edge. The reclosable tab, in its open position, defines a drink-through opening in the lid through which a user can consume a beverage from the drinking-cup without removing the lid. In its closed position, the reclosable tab is adapted to close the drink-through opening in a leak-resistant manner. The reclosable spout of the present invention can be employed on a variety of lids and containers for facilitating drinking, dispensing, or pouring therefrom.

The base and the lid include inter-cooperating sealing areas in the form of ridges and mating grooves.
