摘要: An electronic transmission control system for an automotive vehicle with a belt-type continuously variable automatic transmission comprises a transmission ratio control device including a first motor-driven oil pump supplying working pressure directly to a secondary pulley actuation chamber, and a second motor-driven oil pump supplying working pressure directly to a primary pulley actuation chamber and enabling working oil to come and go between the primary and secondary pulley actuation chambers therethrough. A first control section is provided for controlling the first motor-driven oil pump so that the actual secondary pulley pressure is adjusted to a target working pressure needed to hold a belt capacity of a drive belt, which belt capacity is defined as a capacity required for exerting a grip of the drive belt on primary and secondary pulleys. Also provided is a second control section which controls the second motor-driven oil pump by limiting a speed-change flow rate (or a speed-change velocity), so that the actual primary pulley pressure is prevented from reducing to below a lowest working pressure capable of holding the belt capacity.

摘要: The shock absorber includes an oil pressure damper (1), a piston rod (2) and a cushion spring (3), wherein the cushion spring (3) contacts to the piston rod side with an end thereof and another end (6) thereof contacts to a spring receiving face (8) of a spring seat (7). Since the spring seat (7) is integrated with an adjuster (10) by engaging claws (9) with the adjuster (10) and is also integrated with a movable cover (20), the spring seat (7), the adjuster (10) and the movable cover (20) rotate and move to an axial direction as one body. Further, an O-ring (17) is provided in a space formed by an lower end face (15) of the spring receiving face (8) and an inner side arc portion of a flange (11) between an outer face of the oil pressure damper (1) and therewith, the lower end face (15) of the spring receiving surface (8) and the inner side arc portion (16) and is elastically supported by the O-ring (17) in a state that the space formed between the outer surface of the oil pressure damper (1) and therewith is buried in non-looseness.

摘要: An ink jet unit to which an ink container is detachably mountable, and which is further mountable to an ink jet recording apparatus so as to effect ink jet recording. The ink jet unit includes an ink jet head for ejecting ink for recording, an ink supply tube for receiving ink from the ink container and being provided at a bottom portion of the ink jet unit in fluid communication with the ink jet head, and an opening for permitting mounting of the ink container thereto. The opening is formed continuously, in such sides of the ink jet unit as take top and front positions when the ink jet unit is mounted to the ink jet recording apparatus. A cover is provided, at the top side of the ink jet unit. The cover includes at an inside thereof a substantially non-elastic material provided at least at an inner corner between the top side and a rear side of the ink jet unit, and further includes an inclined portion which increases resistance against insertion of the ink container through the opening during mounting of the ink container as well as a substantially horizontal portion, all for urging the ink container downwardly to mount the ink container for fluid communication with the ink supply tube.

摘要: A flashlight control apparatus having a device for emitting flashlight towards a subject and a device for receiving the light reflected from the subject through a photographing lens. An output is generated which corresponds to the received light which is time-integrated in order to calculate the amount of light received. An optimum integration level is calculated which is to be integrated. This optimum integration level corresponds to an optimum quantity of flashlight to be emitted by the emitting means, based on film speed information. A time limit is also calculated, which is shorter, by a predetermined length of time, than an optimum emission time of the emitting device. This optimum emission time is based on aperture value information and object distance information. The emitting device is controlled to stop emitting flashlight when the time limit elapses, in the case where a quantity of light received by the light receiving devices has reached an optimum quantity before the time limit elapses.

摘要: An ink container for storing ink and an ink jet apparatus having such an ink container is provided. The ink container has an ink tank providing an enclosed space within an inner wall of the tank. The ink container is filled with inner and outer porous members having open pores for holding ink. The inner porous members are disposed within the enclosed space so as to only contact and press against other inner or outer porous members or both. The outer porous members are disposed within the enclosed space so as to contact and press against the inner porous members and the inner wall of the ink tank. This arrangement of inner and outer porous members within the ink container prevents an uneven compression distribution which occurs when conventional porous members are inserted into ink containers or when ink containers containing such conventional porous members suffer impacts. Further, the porous members can fill the entire ink container regardless of the shape of its interior, thus reducing the amount of non-dischargeable ink and leakage.

摘要: A storage battery-based DC power supply system with continuous float charging adapted to automatic continuous recharging of storage battery connected to load is disclosed. Selective recharging at the full-charge voltage and float charging voltage is performed in response to the accumulated ampere-hour value of discharge current from the storage battery, when such value reaches a predetermined threshold value set to prevent excessive recharging, which can damage storage battery.
