摘要： A transport system composed of road side stations installed along roads and vehicles running on roads, wherein emergency processing at the time of an accident, a local information providing service, and so on are realized by the road side stations in cooperation of the road side stations and the respective vehicles. In the transport system, a plurality of road side stations are interconnected through a road side communication network, and a plurality of vehicles communicate with the road side stations. A vehicle transmits a request message containing a service code and location information. A road side station receiving the request message broadcasts the request message to the network. The road side stations receive the message, and determine whether or not requested processing should be executed based on the service code and the location information. When determining that the processing should be executed, the road side station executes processing indicated by the service code.

摘要： A liquid ink jet recording apparatus and method which forms a multi-level tonal image by liquid droplets discharged through plural nozzles. A first scan of a recording head past a recording material ejects ink droplets from a first nozzle in accordance with a tone signal. A sub-scan operation is performed and a second scan of the recording head ejects ink droplets from a second nozzle in accordance with a tone signal. The ink droplets ejected from the first and second nozzles have actual size/volumes different than their nominal size/volumes. Plural tonal levels are formed by super-imposing ink droplets of the same color and a same nominal volume but different actual volumes by at least the first and second nozzles thus minimizing variations between pixels having the same tonal level.

摘要： An ink jet recording method and apparatus for performing recording by discharging ink onto a recording medium in accordance with recording data using a recording head having ink discharge ports for discharging the ink. The apparatus includes a scanning unit for scanning the recording head relative to the recording medium for discharging ink to record pixels on the recording medium, and a determining unit for determining whether the recording data includes non-discharge data for a predetermined number of successive pixels to be recorded by the recording head, and for generating a corresponding determination output signal. The apparatus further includes a control unit for controlling ink discharge in accordance with the determination output signal such that an amount of ink discharged for forming at least one pixel subsequent to the predetermined number of successive pixels is reduced from a predetermined recording amount, when the recording data is determined to include non-discharge data for the predetermined number of successive pixels.

摘要： A liquid jet recording method for recording on a recording material with liquid droplets discharged through plural scanning nozzles arranged in a width measured in a direction of main scan. The recording method includes a first main scan by relative movement between the nozzles and the recording material, in which pixels are recorded with numbers of droplets through a nozzle, the numbers of droplets corresponding to respective tone signals. The method also includes a sub-scan by relative movement between the nozzles and the recording material in a direction crossing with a movement direction of the first main scan. The method further includes a second main scan in which the pixels are recorded with numbers of droplets through a different nozzle, the latter numbers of droplets corresponding to tone level signals. The sub-scan and second main scan steps are repeated to record a tone image by discharging plural droplets for a pixel.
