    摘要: This specification describes technologies relating to optical fiber network monitoring. A monitoring system is provided. The monitoring system includes a fiber network including a plurality of branch fibers and a main station coupled to a main fiber of the fiber network to broadcast communications signals to a plurality of branch stations. The monitoring system includes a monitoring device configured to transmit a monitoring signal and detect reflected portions of the monitoring signal such that the received portions specifically identify a condition of specific branch fibers of the plurality of branch fibers and a plurality of filtering devices coupled to each respective branch fiber, each filtering device including a transmission window configured to pass a plurality of communication wavelengths and a distinct wavelength of the monitoring signal, where the distinct wavelength is not within the transmission window, and block the remaining wavelengths, where the distinct wavelength identifies the respective branch fiber.

    摘要: A time-shift TV (TsTV) service establishment method and a TsTV media function (MF) entity are configured to realize TsTV services in an IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) network. The method includes the following steps. The TsTV MF entity receives a media negotiation including content delivery channel information and content control channel information initiated by a terminal, establishes a transmission connection with the terminal based on the media negotiation result, receives a media playing request sent from the terminal through the transmission connection, and sends media information corresponding to the media playing request to the terminal through a content delivery channel established based on the content delivery channel information. A TsTV MF entity is also provided. Thus, the TsTV services are realized in an IMS network.

    摘要: A pulse heating—time of flight mass spectrometric gas elements analyzer, which involves the chemical analysis field of inorganic materials, and comprises of a pulse heating electrode furnace, a sample charging system, a purification device, a time-of-flight mass spectrometer, a signal acquisition and data processing system, and an automatic control system. Said electrode furnace and sample charging system are united as one via upper/lower electrodes and pneumatic cylinders, to form a closed hearth. Said electrode furnace, purification device and time-of-flight mass spectrometer are interconnected through the gas pipelines: the purified inert carrier gas comes into the hearth from its top, carrying out the gas components released from sample fusion, and upon re-purification, comes into the time-of-flight mass spectrometer; said signal acquisition and data processing system is connected to the detector of the said mass spectrometer via signal cables, and on the basis of computation by the data processing module of the relevant computer software, outputs the mass percentages of O, N, H and Ar in the sample. The lower limit of detection can be below 0.01 ppm to 0.1 ppm, and no less than three elements can be measured simultaneously in one analysis cycle.

    摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed to provide converged service control and converged charging in legacy networks and IMS networks. A converged service control system of the invention includes a protocol interface and a service controller. The protocol interface receives call messages from the legacy networks and the IMS networks, and converts the call messages to a common protocol. The service controller then processes the call messages in the common protocol to provide service control to the legacy networks and the IMS networks. The service controller is also enabled to provide online and offline charging for the legacy networks and the IMS networks.

    摘要: An interactive voice response system (102) includes a protocol interface (134) that is adapted to communicate with a plurality of divergent telecommunications networks for voice communications (104, 106, 108, 110). These networks are, for example, a wireline telecommunications network, a CDMA network, a GSM network, and a voice over IP network. A controller (136) is coupled to the protocol interface to receive a plurality of common call control messages from, and to supply a plurality of common call control messages to, the protocol interface. The protocol interface converts control messages from each one of the plurality of divergent telecommunications networks into the plurality of common call control messages for the controller. The controller generates and receives the common call control messages to cause a prompt and collect interaction with a caller that is using a device that is coupled to one of the networks. The common call control messages generated by the controller are converted by the protocol interface into control messages that are appropriate for the particular network that is to receive the control message. That is, the common call control messages are converted to the network's protocol.
