    摘要: The present disclosure relates to processes and methods for producing a hydrophobic zone boundary that surrounds a hydrophilic porous material layer mounted on a substrate, the hydrophilic porous material layer containing tortuous channels and pores such that the fluid contained within one hydrophilic layer region does not cross the hydrophobic zone boundary and the articles formed thereby and, more particularly, to processes and methods for producing a hydrophobic zone boundary that separates adjacent regions of a hydrophilic porous material layer mounted on a substrate, the hydrophilic porous material layer containing tortuous channels and pores mounted on a substrate such that a uniform hydrophobic zone boundary layer in the z-direction is formed in the hydrophilic porous material or the removal of the hydrophilic porous material layer from the substrate to form a hydrophilic porous material zone on the substrate, the so formed hydrophilic porous material zone having a predetermined geometric shape such that the combination produced thereby is useful in microarray applications and other applications. Methods of making and using discrete zoned microporous nylon coated glass plateforms for use with microwell plates are also disclosed.

    摘要: The small fan has an air conduction housing (2) of plastic, in which an impeller (1) is rotatably supported. It is designed as a meridian-accelerated fan. The blades (1a) of the impeller (1) are not twisted and have the same angle of pitch over the entire blade length. The leading edges of the impeller (1b) and the front side of the hub (1c) as well as the front side of the housing (2d) lie approximately in the same plane. In contrast to axial fans, the meridian-accelerated fan has a higher power density along with a lower noise development.

    摘要: A polishing dental instrument includes a polisher, which is vibrated by a drive shaft connected to a motor-driven drive via an eccentric pin. The eccentric movements are elastically transferred to two arms via two compression springs. The arms are fixed to a displaceably guided bearing sleeve positioned in a casing. The polisher which is guided in the bearing has an end piece whose lateral edges are adapted to smooth or clean the tooth root surface. As a result of the elastically transferred reciprocating movements of the eccentric pin a very fine smoothing of the root surface is obtained.

    摘要: An axial securing device for the shaft of a small motor in which one end of the shaft is solidly connected with a rotor and the other end is supported in a thrust bearing of a stator. A securing element is locked into an annular groove of the shaft. The securing element has an inwardly directed bulge and a cylindrical projection. When the shaft is inserted, the securing element is pushed in front of the annular groove during the radial extension and locks into the annular groove by itself during further axial movement. The projection is so dimensioned so that through this movement its underside surrounds the contact surface of the shaft end.
