Two spaced blocks each protrude from the concave portion and each slidably extend through a corresponding one of the two elongated slots. A positioning plate abuts on the first side of the convex portion and is fixedly mounted on the two blocks for fastening the adjusting plate on the supporting socket.

摘要： An exerciser includes a bellows and a pair of gripping units attached to the bellows. The bellows includes an elongated wall body which is made from a compressible and expandable resilient material and which defines a sealed interior chamber therein. The wall body has a first end portion, a second end portion and a plurality of pleated sections located between and formed integrally with the end portions thereof. The first end portion has a radially extending circular orifice which is formed through a wall thereof and which has a predetermined diameter for communicating an exterior of the wall body with the interior chamber thereof so as to permit air to enter into and exit from the interior chamber only via the orifice. The gripping units are respectively attached to the first and second end portions of the wall body such that the wall body can be compressed or stretched by applying a force on the first and second end portions so as to vary the volume of the chamber in the wall body, thereby enabling the user to achieve an alternate pull and push exercising effects on a user.

Accordingly, in a case where the large hollow cylinder is rotated relative to the small hollow cylinder or is moved toward the outer end of the small hollow cylinder, releasing one of the small and large hollow cylinders causes the large hollow cylinder to return to the normal position on the small hollow cylinder.

摘要： A retarding device is to be used in an exerciser and includes a tubular housing which has an open top end and an intermediate part that is provided with an inwardly projecting annular support, and a tubular adjustment unit which is mounted on the open top end and which is movable axially relative to the tubular housing. A drive shaft extends axially into the tubular housing through a closed top of the adjustment unit and through the annular support. The drive shaft is movable axially in the tubular housing. A tubular rubber friction unit is provided in the tubular housing around the drive shaft and is interposed between the closed top of the adjustment unit and the annular support. Axial movement of the adjustment unit toward the tubular housing results in a compression force on the friction unit, thereby deforming the friction unit such that at least a part of an inner wall surface of the friction unit projects radially inward to contact the drive shaft so as to resist axial movement of the drive shaft in the tubular housing.
