    Abstract: Certain aspects are directed to a user equipment (UE) configured to receive reference signals from a network node via multiple resource element groups (REGs) including at least one REG carrying a downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may be configured to receive, from the network node, communication parameters for a downlink transmission, the communication parameters indicative of a first resource element group (REG) bundle and a second REG bundle. In some examples, the UE may receive the downlink transmission via the first REG bundle. In some examples, the UE may be configured to perform channel estimation of the downlink transmission based on reference signals transmitted via the first REG bundle and the second REG bundle.

    Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus at a user equipment (UE) in a non-terrestrial network (NTN) are provided. The UE may be configured to receive one or more timing advance (TA) commands from an NTN. In response to a transmission timing error between a transmission TA of the UE and a reference timing exceeding a threshold, the UE may be configured to transmit an uplink transmission with a timing change having a total timing adjustment, other than a propagation delay adjustment due to an NTN node position update and a network-controlled common TA value, that satisfies one or more threshold requirements.
