Abstract: An example server device for sending media data includes a memory configured to store media data; and a processing system implemented in circuitry and configured to: receive a set of three-dimensional (3D) media data being sent to a client device; transcode the set of 3D media data to a set of one or more images; and send the set of one or more images to the client device. The server device may receive a message from a source client device destined for the client device, where the message includes the 3D media data. The message may be a Multimedia Message Service (MMS) message including the 3D media data. The client device may initially provide data representing rendering capabilities of the client device to the server device, such that the server device may determine that the client device is not capable of rendering the 3D media data.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a non-terrestrial network (NTN) entity, a message that is associated with an uplink grant. The UE may select, based at least in part on the message, either a cell-specific offset or an updated offset that is indicated after initial access, as a timing offset that accounts for a propagation delay between a base station of the NTN and the UE. The UE may transmit, to the NTN entity, an uplink communication using the timing offset. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for providing feedback. For example, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node, a configuration of a search space comprising time and frequency resources available to the network node for communicating a downlink control channel, the configuration indicating a feedback process type corresponding to the search space. The UE may also receive, from the network node, the downlink control channel in the search space. The UE may also receive a downlink transmission scheduled by the downlink control channel. The UE may selectively provide feedback to the network node regarding decoding of the downlink transmission according to the feedback process type corresponding to the search space.

Abstract: In one aspect, a method of wireless communication includes operating, by a user equipment (UE), in a network with fixed radio cells. The UE may further receive a PDSCH associated with resources that overlap with at least a portion of the one or more PDCCH resources associated with the indication of the subset of one or more SSB beams, and rate-match around the one or more PDCCH resources associated with the indication of the subset of one or more SSB beams for receiving the PDSCH.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described in which UEs may communicate with satellites or base stations, or both in a non-terrestrial network. Due to large distances between transmitting devices and receiving devices in a non-terrestrial network, the UE may account for propagation delay and frequency shift of communications with a satellite based on location information of the satellite. The UE may receive first satellite location information from a base station or a satellite, via a broadcast message. The UE may receive second satellite location information from the wireless network node via a unicast message, where both the first satellite location information and the second satellite location information relate to a same satellite. The UE may transmit an uplink communication via the satellite based on at least one of the first satellite location information or the second satellite location information.

A UE may perform a synchronization procedure with the cell and may receive, as part of the synchronization procedure, broadcast signaling associated with the cell. The base station may initiate communications with the UE based on the broadcast signaling including the indication of the terrestrial characteristic of the cell.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Generally, the described techniques provide for establishing rules for scheduling downlink data transmissions and flow control feedback for the downlink data transmissions to avoid confusion at a base station and a user equipment (UE). In one example, when flow control feedback from a UE is disabled for a downlink data transmission, the UE may still operate according to a timing for reporting flow control feedback for the downlink data transmission. In this example, the UE may drop (e.g., refrain from decoding) other downlink data transmissions based on the timing for reporting flow control feedback. In another example, when flow control feedback from a UE is disabled for a downlink data transmission, other downlink data transmissions to the UE may be scheduled according to one or more rules to avoid confusion.
