    Abstract: An anchor UE may move or have a low transmission power and impact the accuracy of positioning estimates of a target UE based on measurements of the PRSs associated with the anchor UE. One or more candidate anchor UEs may be selected or excluded from being used for positioning based on one or more of a measurement quality metric of a position measurement of a candidate anchor UE, a mobility status of the candidate anchor UE, or a GDOP associated with the candidate anchor UE. A mobility status of the candidate anchor UE may be derived from reported positions of the candidate anchor UE or obtained from the candidate anchor UE. A UE selected as an anchor UE is used for positioning of a target UE, and a UE downselected from being an anchor UE is excluded from use for positioning of the target UE.

In an aspect, a first network node receives, from a second network node, a positioning reference signal having a first reception time at the first network node, receives, from a first user equipment (UE), a first uplink positioning reference signal having a second reception time at the first network node, receives, from a second UE, a second uplink positioning reference signal having a third reception time at the first network node, and enables a first reference signal time difference (RSTD) measurement to be calculated for the first UE and a second RSTD measurement to be calculated for the second UE based on the first reception time, the second reception time, the third reception time, and other measurements.

    Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for wireless communication. In an aspect, a method of wireless communication performed by a transmission/reception point (TRP) includes transmitting, at a first time and to a receiving entity, a first beam response report that describes, using a first level of granularity, beam responses of a set of positioning resources, each positioning resource to be transmitted by the TRP at different times using different beams; transmitting, at a second time and to the receiving entity, a second beam response report that describes, using a second level of granularity different from the first level of granularity, beam responses of at least a portion of the set of positioning resources; and transmitting the set of positioning resources using the different beams. The TRP may receive positioning information from the receiving entity, the positioning information comprising measurements of at least some of the positioning resources, a positioning estimate, or combinations thereof.

    Abstract: Techniques for detecting non-line-of-sight (NLOS) wireless signal paths are described. In some embodiments, a method thereof may include receiving positioning information from one or more networked devices, the positioning information comprising information indicative of measurements of one or more wireless signals transmitted between one or more wireless network nodes and one or more UEs, location data indicative of a location of each of the one or more UEs, or a combination thereof; determining a commonality associated with the received positioning information; and based on the determined commonality, determining that the NLOS wireless signal path is present between the given UE and the one or more wireless network nodes.
