    摘要: A single to dual indexing carton transfer mechanism involving a turret and conveyor, wherein the turret includes equally spaced mandrels which index at a first predetermined rate, and wherein the conveyor indexes at one-half the rate of the mandrels. Partially formed paperboard cartons are stripped from the respective mandrels as the latter index to their 6:00 o'clock position, and set on a stationary rail. A pusher mechanism is cammed to alternately transfer odd numbered cartons to the conveyor during the latter's dwell period, and even numbered cartons to the conveyor while it is indexing, thereby increasing the production rate along a single conveyor line.

    摘要: A temperature sensor for monitoring an organ or tissue is configured to measure a temperature inside of a container configured to contain the organ or tissue. The temperature sensor is disposed exterior to the organ container and the temperature sensor is a non-contact temperature sensor. The temperature sensor may be part of an apparatus for perfusing, transporting, and/or storing an organ or tissue. A coolant container may have an aperture through which the temperature sensor measures a temperature of at least one of the organ or tissue or a perfusate fluid surrounding the organ or tissue. The temperature sensor is preferably an infrared temperature sensor. Multiple temperature sensors may be provided that measure the temperature organ or tissue or perfusate fluid surrounding the organ or tissue, for example in case one of the temperature sensors fails.

    摘要: An electric vehicle battery heater includes a housing having a coolant inlet and a coolant outlet. A heating element is positioned within the housing in a heat transfer relationship with coolant for transferring heat to an electric vehicle battery. A thermistor is positioned in the housing to output a signal indicative of a temperature of the battery coolant. A controller energizes the heating element when the signal represents that the coolant temperature is less than a predetermined lower limit.
