摘要： A data handling device is provided with a data memory (10) with an address input and a data output, for outputting multi-bit words. The data memory (10) has a structure that gives rise to potential errors at correlated positions in words from a group of words. An erasure memory unit (16) stores bit position information associated with a group of the words, and outputs the bit position information when a word from the group for which bit position information is stored is addressed in the data memory (10). An error correction and detection unit (12) is arranged to correct words from the data memory (10), using error erasure for bits at bit positions selected by the bit position information from the erasure memory unit (16) for the groups to which the words belong.

摘要： A disk drive comprises a turning mechanism (3 to 8) adapted to provide a pulse to the side of the disk (D) resting on a tray (2) in a position outside the center so as to provide an upward and rotating movement to the disk in order to turn it over. The turning mechanism may include a pulse member (3) acting directly on the disk. In an embodiment, the turning mechanism is pneumatic, the pulse member being a nozzle adapted to direct a pressurized gas pulse at the disk. Tests have shown that exerting an eccentric pulse on the disk results in flipping the disk over reliably and quickly.

Said method includes the steps of receiving and transmitting, from a first device (11), a first request with a first selection criterion for a first content to a server (18) or to a second device (12); transferring the first content satisfying said first selection criterion to said first device from the server, when said server previously has acknowledged said first device as a legal recipient of said first content and in case said first content is available only on said server, and noting that said first device subsequently has the requested first content available for other devices (14, 15, 16, 17); or re-directing said first request to a third device (13) on which the server knows that the requested first content is still available and transferring said first content satisfying said first selection criterion to said first device from the third device; or transferring the first content satisfying said first selection criterion to said first device from the second device, when said first content is available on said second device, and informing the server that said first content has been transferred to said first device from said second device; and rewarding the one of said second or third device from which said first content was transferred to said first device, when content was transferred from one of these; and charging said first device for reception of said first content. 摘要： Flat-panel type picture display device having a luminescent screen and a large number of electron propagation ducts operating by means of electron wall interaction. Electrons are withdrawn from the ducts by means of an addressing system, whereafter these electrons are directed towards desired locations on the luminescent screen. An apertured spacer plate of electrically insulating material for passing electrons is arranged between the addressing system and the screen. To enable large voltage differences to be applied across the dimension of thickness of the spacer plate, the spacer plate is provided with a high-ohmic layer, or with a pattern of a low-ohmic material, or with an equalization layer at one side and with a low-ohmic layer at the other side, and at least the walls of the apertures are preferably coated with a material having a low secondary emission.

摘要： The thin-type display device (1) with a vacuum envelope has a transparent front wall (3), which is provided with a display screen, and at least an electron source (5) and a duct structure, which cooperates with the electron source (5) and which extends substantially parallel to the front wall (3). Ducts (6, 6', 6") of the duct structure serve as electron-propagation means and are provided with walls (11, 11', 11") of an electrically insulating material having a secondary emission coefficient which is suitable for electron propagation. In the display device (1) 1.ltoreq.s/w.ltoreq.5 and s.multidot.w.gtoreq.5 mm.sup.2, where s is the depth of the ducts (6, 6', 6") and w is the width of the ducts (6, 6', 6"). Preferably, the width w.gtoreq.1.5 mm and the depth 3.5.ltoreq.s.ltoreq.15 mm. The voltage difference over the length of the ducts (6, 6', 6"), measured parallel to the front wall (3), is less than 75 V/cm, preferably less than 40 V/cm.
