摘要: An absorbent article comprises a topsheet, a backsheet which may be joined to the topsheet, and an absorbent core positioned between the topsheet and the backsheet. Additionally, the absorbent core comprises at least a superabsorbent polymer material comprising from about 55 to about 99.9% by weight of polymerizable unsaturated acid group containing monomer, and from about 0.001 to about 5% by weight of internal crosslinking agent which are polymerized and prepared into superabsorbent polymer particles and which further include surface additives. The superabsorbent polymer material can also have a degree of neutralization of greater than about 25%. The result is an absorbent article which exhibits improved performance as well as greater comfort and confidence among the user.

摘要: The present invention provides a translucent absorbent composite having a substrate with a light transmittance of at least about 60% and a flexible superabsorbent binder polymer composition applied to the substrate. The polymer composition may be prepared from the reaction product of a monomer solution including at least 15% by mass monoethylenically unsaturated monomer selected from carboxylic acid, carboxylic acid salts, sulphonic acid, sulphonic acid salts, phosphoric acid, or phosphoric acid salts; an acrylate or methacrylate ester that contains an alkoxysilane functionality; a copolymerizable hydrophilic glycol containing an ester monomer; an initiator system; and a neutralizing agent. The unsaturated monomer is neutralized to at least 25 mol % and the flexible superabsorbent binder polymer composition has a residual monoethylenically unsaturated monomer content of less than about 1000 ppm. The absorbent composite has a light transmittance of at least 45%. Also provided are absorbent articles containing the absorbent composite.

摘要: A flexible superabsorbent binder polymer composition including a monoethylenically unsaturated polymer, such as carboxylic acid, sulphonic acid, or phosphoric acid, or salts thereof, and an acrylate or methacrylate ester that contains an alkoxysilane functionality, or a monomer capable of co-polymerization with a compound containing a trialkoxysilane functional group and subsequent reaction with water to form a silanol group wherein the flexible superabsorbent binder polymer composition has a residual monoethylenically unsaturated monomer of less than about 1000 ppm. The flexible superabsorbent binder polymer composition is particularly suitable for use in manufacturing absorbent articles. A method of making the flexible superabsorbent binder polymer composition includes preparing a monomer solution, adding the monomer solution to an initiator system, and activating a polymerization initiator within the initiator system.

摘要: A method, column circuit, imager and imaging system having noise-reducing and memory-saving capabilities. An offset value for each of a plurality of pixel columns in the imager is generated. A predetermined number of the plurality of pixel columns having corresponding offset values that are greater in value than all other generated offset values are selected. Noise is reduced in each of the selected pixel columns by applying the corresponding offset values to pixel outputs from each selected pixel column. The memory requirements of the imager are reduced by only storing offset values corresponding to the selected pixel columns. Memory is also conserved by reducing bit depth and only storing a single offset value for each of the plurality of pixel columns.

摘要: A control circuit for a delay-lock loop having a delay line and a phase detector is used in a memory device. In a standby mode, the control circuit isolates a reference clock signal from the delay-lock loop to save power unless a clock signal generated by the loop is needed for a memory operation. However, the reference signal is periodically coupled to the delay line for a sufficient period to achieve a locked condition. As a result, the phase of the output signal from delay-lock loop can be quickly locked to the phase of the reference signal when a memory operation is to occur during a normal operating mode. When transitioning between the standby mode and the normal operating mode, the control circuit couples the reference clock signal to the delay line for at least a predetermined period of time.

摘要: A multiple outlet power product, includes a main body having a first power connector, a power cord having first and second ends, the first end attached to the main body and electrically connected to the first power connector, a power plug attached to the second end of the power cord and configured to receive power from a power source, and a circuit breaker disposed in the main body. In one embodiment, the first power connector is shaped so as to directly interface to an AC power adaptor without the need for a cord between the first power connector and the AC power adaptor. The power cord can further include a connection adaptor, the connection adaptor having a first end configured to mate to the first power connector and a second end configured to mate to a power adaptor.
