    摘要: A fixing device includes: a heating rotary member having a heating layer generating heat upon current application; a pressurizing rotary member brought into pressure-contact with an outer circumferential surface of the heating rotary member to form fixing nip, through which a sheet on which unfixed toner image is formed passes for heat fixing; circular electrodes that are circumferentially formed at two respective positions sandwiching a sheet passing region therebetween, on the outer circumferential surface, and feed electrical power to the heating layer, the electrodes are each metallic and formed of at least two electrode layers including a first electrode layer layered directly on the heating layer and a second electrode layer as an outermost layer, linear expansion coefficient difference between the first layer and the heating layer is smaller than that between the second layer and the heating layer, and the second layer is more oxidation-resistant than the first layer.

    摘要: When warming-up of a battery is in progress (S12), a battery charge state at the warming-up start time of the battery is set to a battery hold capacity SOChold (S19, S15), and a charge power for the battery is controlled so that a battery charge state SOC is kept at SOChold. When a present time is in a timer charge reservation time (S11), the charge power for the battery is controlled so that SOC becomes a full charge state SOCfull (S17). Even if SOC has a tendency to temporarily decrease due to a rapid increase of heater consumption power just after start of warming-up of the battery, by keeping SOC at SOChold (SOC=SOChold), SOC can reach a full charge state as intended during the timer charge reservation time. A proportion of charge using low-priced midnight power is increased to a maximum then running cost can be suppressed.

    摘要: Manufacturing processes for phase change memory have suffered from the problem of chalcogenide material being susceptible to delamination, since this material exhibits low adhesion to high melting point metals and silicon oxide films. Furthermore, chalcogenide material has low thermal stability and hence tends to sublime during the manufacturing process of phase change memory. According to the present invention, conductive or insulative adhesive layers are formed over and under the chalcogenide material layer to enhance its delamination strength. Further, a protective film made up of a nitride film is formed on the sidewalls of the chalcogenide material layer to prevent sublimation of the chalcogenide material layer.

    摘要: An apparatus for estimating rotor position for brushless motors capable of accurately estimating rotor position is provided. The apparatus may be used as a start-up system for brushless motors. The apparatus performs accurate estimation even though power source voltage fluctuates, and is able to provide compact configuration. The apparatus supplies voltage to the coils respectively. In each supplying period, the apparatus counts voltage supply period of time until current value reaches to a current threshold value. Since a coil indicative of rotor stop position is prone to be magnetically saturated. The apparatus estimates the rotor stop position based on the voltage supply periods. Then, the apparatus starts a switching sequence based on the rotor stop position.
