摘要: A field effect transistor of the present invention includes: a gate electrode formed on a substrate; a gate insulation layer formed on the gate electrode: a source electrode and a drain electrode that are formed on the gate insulation layer; a n-type semiconductor layer including carbon nanotube, formed between the source electrode and the drain electrode so as to contact with the source electrode and the drain electrode; and a n-type modifying polymer layer formed on the n-type semiconductor layer, the n-type modifying polymer layer being for converting a polarity of the carbon nanotube from an original polarity of p-type into n-type and for stabilizing the polarity. The semiconductor characteristics of CNT are converted concurrently with the formation of the semiconductor protective layer, whereby the manufacturing process can be simplified. Thereby, a CNT-FET circuit that is stable even in the air can be provided.

摘要: The volume per drop of the drops ejected by each nozzle is detected. It is then determined whether a volume of drops equal to or greater than a target value can be ejected by causing one or more first nozzles to eject drops, the detected volume per drop of the first nozzles falling within a first range of a preset value. When the determination is affirmative, the first nozzles are selected for ejection of drops. When the determination is negative, the first nozzles and one or more second nozzles are selected for ejection of drops. The detected volume per drop of the second nozzles falls within a second range of the present value, where the second range is greater than the first range.

摘要: A thin film transistor of the present invention is a thin film transistor (100) having a semiconductor layer (14), a source region (15) and a drain region (16) provided to be isolated from each other so as to mutually oppose the semiconductor layer. The semiconductor layer has π-conjugated organic semiconductor molecules as its main component. The π-conjugated organic semiconductor molecules are oriented so that π orbitals substantially oppose each other and that the molecular axis of the main chains is oriented to be inclined with respect to a direction of electric field in a channel formed in the semiconductor layer.
