    摘要: In a variable ratio steering system, the input shaft is rotatably supported by a support member which is in turn rotatably supported by a casing, and the axial lines of these two parts extend in parallel with each other, and are offset from each other. While the point of action between the input shaft and the output shaft is fixed relative to the output shaft, the distance between the point of action and the axial center line of the input shaft changes in dependence on both the angular position of the support member and the amplitude of the input angle. Thus, by appropriately determining the relative relationships between the axial lines of the input and output shafts and a rotatable range of the support member, it is possible to achieve a desired non-linear relationship between the rotational angles of the input shaft and the output shaft. It is therefore possible to improve the handling of the vehicle, for instance in parking the vehicle in a small space, and steer the vehicle with a least amount of effort in a low speed range, and to increase the stability of the vehicle in a high speed range. Furthermore, this can be achieved with a highly simple and play-free structure.

During unsteady phases of rolling operation such as threading, rolling speed acceleration and/or deceleration, and tail out with respect to the coil being rolled, mill motors are so controlled as not to perform drooping characteristic action except under certain specific conditions, and at threading phase in particular, motors in individual stands are so controlled as to revolve at a uniformly decreased speed, whereby final gauge control accuracy can be improved with respect to top and bottom end portions of the coil and such troubles as coil cut and the like can be effectively prevented.

    摘要: A digital capstan servo circuit controls the rotation of a capstan motor used for sending a recording medium of a recording apparatus having a recording circuit for recording a plurality of pilot signals instead of CTL signals used for a tracking servo of the capstan motor in a reproducing mode. The pilot signals have different frequencies respectively and are recorded under being mixed with a video signal on video tracks. In the recording mode, a rotation speed information obtained from a counter of which a counting value is latched by a latch pulse produced from FG signals which are generated synchronously with the capstan motor and a rotation phase information obtained from the counter of which a counting value is latched by a latch pulse produced from an oscillator, an output signal of the oscillator having the same frequency as that of but a different phase from as that of the FG signals, are mixed to be a control signal of the capstan motor.

The cornering-state judging device is configured to judge whether a vehicle has transitioned to a cornering state from a normal running state. The modified shift-up table generator is configured to generate a modified shift-up table when the vehicle is judged to have transitioned to the cornering state. The modified shift-up table makes a shift-up more difficult to occur than a reference shift-up table does. The gear-shift controller is configured to perform gear-shift control by using the reference shift-up table during the normal running state. The gear-shift controller is configured to suppress a gear shift by using the modified shift-up table instead of the reference shift-up table when the vehicle is judged to have transitioned to the cornering state.
