Abstract: A rubber composition based at least on a reinforcing filler comprising a content of silica of greater than or equal to 80 phr, preferably of greater than or equal to 100 phr, and on an elastomer matrix comprising a content of a modified diene elastomer of greater than or equal to 75 phr is provided. The modified diene elastomer comprises macromolecules comprising, within their structure, an n-functional branching unit, n having a value of at least 1 and of at most 9, preferably of at most 6, consisting of a group comprising at least two silicon atoms which are substituted by elastomer branches and connected together via a group comprising at least one nitrogen atom, the bonds between silicon and nitrogen atoms being produced via a spacer group.

Abstract: Provided is a polyfunctional vinyl aromatic copolymer having reactivity and solubility that can be used for manufacturing a copolymer rubber and a copolymer rubber material having processability, strength and homogeneity obtained therefrom. The polyfunctional vinyl aromatic copolymer includes: 0.5 mol % or more and 40 mol % or less of a structural unit (a) derived from a divinyl aromatic compound and 60 mol % or more and 99.5 mol % or less of a structural unit (b) derived from a monovinyl aromatic compound, in which at least some of the structural units (a) are a crosslinked structural unit (a2) represented by the following Formula (2) and a vinyl-group-containing structural unit (a1) represented by the following Formula (1):

Abstract: A liquid butadiene-styrene polymer, a preparation method for same and an application of same, as well as a composition, a polymer coating, an adhesive and a cross-linking agent containing the same are provided. When the total weight of the liquid butadiene-styrene polymer is taken as a reference, in the liquid butadiene-styrene polymer, the content of a styrene structural unit is 15-30 wt %, the content of a butadiene structural unit is 70-85 wt %, and the content of a 1,2-structural unit is 60-80 wt %; when the total weight of the 1,2-structural unit in the liquid butadiene-styrene polymer is taken as a reference, the content of a cyclized 1,2-structural unit is 20-60 wt %. A coating formed by the liquid butadiene-styrene polymer not only has high peel strength for a substrate, but also has improved thermal expansion performance.

Abstract: A process for making a functionalized diene polymer terminated by a functional end group selected from thiol containing end groups, thiolate containing end groups and a combination thereof, comprising
(i) preparing a diene polymer by a polymerization reaction comprising an anionic polymerization reaction;

wherein the thiol-terminated or thiolate-terminated diene polymer contains at least 51% by weight based on the total weight of the polymer of units derived from 1,3-butadiene, and wherein in formula (III) and (IV) R1, R2, R3 and R4 represent, independently from each other, hydrogen or a hydrocarbon residue containing from 1 to 24 carbon atoms per unit n and wherein the hydrocarbon residue may be saturated or may contain at least one carbon-carbon double bond and wherein the hydrocarbon residue may be interrupted once or more than once by O, Si or S atoms and may contain one or more substituents selected from alkyl amino, alkyl phosphino, alkyl silyl substituents and combinations thereof;
