摘要: Darkness correction is carried out effectively. A printing method is provided with the following steps: A step of, when a plurality of nozzles arranged in a predetermined direction for each of a plurality of colors of ink is moved in a movement direction intersecting with the predetermined direction while ejecting ink of the plurality of different colors, correcting a darkness of only a predetermined color, of the plurality of colors, for each dot row region so as to inhibit darkness non-uniformities between dot row regions that are formed on a medium by dot rows in the movement direction of the nozzles, and a step of performing printing by moving the plurality of nozzles while ejecting ink.

摘要: Quality of a printed image is improved while minimizing the amount of memory used. For example, a print-control method includes: a first print-control step of repeatedly performing a unit image formation operation of forming a unit image in a unit area on a medium by ejecting ink from nozzles arranged in a predetermined direction and moved in a movement direction, and a first carrying operation of carrying the medium by a predetermined carry amount, to print an image in an end portion, in a carrying direction, of the medium; and a second print-control step of repeatedly performing the unit image formation operation and a second carrying operation of carrying the medium by another predetermined carry amount, to print an image in an intermediate portion, in the carrying direction, of the medium. Darkness of each of the unit images within a mixed range, in which unit images printed in the first print-control step and unit images printed in the second print-control step are mixed, is corrected based on a correction value used in the second print-control step.

摘要: A method of processing a semiconductor wafer sliced from a monocrystalline ingot comprises at least the steps of chamfering, lapping, etching, mirror-polishing, and cleaning. In the etching step, alkali etching is first performed and then acid etching, preferably reaction-controlled acid etching, is performed. The etching amount of the alkali etching is greater than the etching amount of the acid etching. Alternatively, in the etching step, reaction-controlled acid etching is first performed and then diffusion-controlled acid etching is performed. The etching amount of the reaction-controlled acid etching is greater than the etching amount of the diffusion-controlled acid etching. The method can remove a mechanically formed damage layer, improve surface roughness, and efficiently decrease the depth of locally formed deep pits, while the flatness of the wafer attained through lapping is maintained, in order to produce a chemically etched wafer having a smooth and flat etched surface that hardly causes generation particles and contamination.
