    摘要: Provided is a communication terminal device that reduces, in a network using a power line, the percentage of bands consumed for transmission of control packets in the bands consumed for all the communication, so as to ensure transmission of data intended to be transmitted. A PLC terminal F701 connected to the network of power line communication transmits, when having determined that the terminal does not receive from the network a beacon for a predetermined period of time, a beacon request packet to the network, using a modulation method having the lowest communication speed among the modulation methods that can be used in the network.

    摘要: An inkjet recording apparatus conducts image recording by ejecting ink and a reactive liquid that reacts with the ink onto a recording medium conveyed by an endless conveyor component. The inkjet recording apparatus includes: a dummy ejection controller that dummy-ejects one of the ink and the reactive liquid onto a first position on the endless conveyor component and dummy-ejects the other of the reactive liquid and the ink onto a second position on the endless conveyor component where the one of the ink and the reactive liquid is not adherent; and a cleaning device that cleans the ink and the reactive liquid on the endless conveyor component.

    摘要: A liquid droplet discharge unit for discharging liquid droplets from nozzles is disclosed, and this liquid droplet discharge unit is constructed in such a way that plural nozzles are communicated with plural pressure chambers in which liquid is filled, the volumes of the respective pressure chambers are changed by plural drive elements to cause liquid droplets to be discharged from the respective nozzles. Further, one heat pipe, which is in thermal communication with the drive elements and moves heat to one end in the axial direction, is provided.     摘要: An image processing apparatus which is capable of extracting embedded information from the back side of a printed document without causing degradation of reading efficiency. A scanner unit reads an image on a first side of a sheet. An encoded information processing section extracts embedded information embedded in the image read by the scanner unit. When embedded information indicating that embedded information is embedded in an image on a second side of the sheet is extracted by the encoded information processing section, an automatic second-side reading section reads the image on the second side of the sheet, and the encoded information processing section extracts the embedded information embedded in the image read by the automatic second-side reading section.
