    摘要: An image display apparatus includes an image forming element, an illumination optical system that guides light emitted from a light source to the image forming element, and a plurality of lenses that project a trapezoidal image formed by the image forming element onto a projected surface. The plurality of lenses have an optical axis that is at an inclination of 1° or more with respect to a perpendicular of a plane including an image forming surface of the image forming element. First rays of the light have a first focal point and second rays of the light have a second focal point. The first focal point is farther from the image forming element than the second focal point is from the image forming element. The first rays form the first portion of the trapezoidal shape and the second rays form the second portion of the trapezoidal shape.

    摘要: An optical projection system for projecting an enlarged image on a projection surface is provided. The optical projection system includes an image forming element, a coaxial optical system and a concave mirror. The coaxial optical system and the concave mirror are arranged in this order on an optical path from the image forming element to the projection surface. The coaxial optical system includes lens groups and an aperture stop that share an optical axis. The lens groups include a first lens group and other lens groups. The first lens group has negative refractive power and independently moves in an optical axis direction for adjusting the focus of the optical projection system. The aperture stop is arranged at a position closer to the image forming element than the first lens group that is arranged closest to the concave mirror among the lens groups having the negative refractive power.

    摘要: An optical scanning system for a K station includes a resin scanning lens and three reflecting mirrors. Two reflectance ratios are calculated: one being the reflectance ratio of a luminous flux traveling toward the scanning start position of a drum-shaped photosensitive drum and the other being the reflectance ratio of a luminous flux traveling toward the scanning end position of the photosensitive drum. The magnitude relation between the two reflectance ratios is such that the reflecting mirror has an inverse magnitude relation to that of the other reflecting mirrors. Moreover, the difference is calculated between the largest value and the smallest value of the reflectance ratio, where the reflectance ratio depends on the angle of deviation of the polygon mirror. The reflecting mirror has the largest difference among the three reflecting mirrors.

The illumination optical system includes a concentration section to control light diffusion, and a reflection section. The reflection section includes at least two integrally configured reflection surfaces, in which a sine value of an angle of reflected light from at least one reflection surface is positive, while a sine value of an angle of reflected light from the rest of at least one reflection surface is negative.
