摘要: The present disclosure is directed to an aqueous gellable composition that includes water; 10 to 45 composition wt. % of a crosslinkable water-soluble polymer including at least one functional group selected from the group of carboxylic acid and carboxylic acid derivative; 1 to 10 composition wt. % of an organic or inorganic crosslinking agent for the crosslinkable water-soluble polymer; 10 to 40 composition wt. % of a polyurethane polymer; and 0.1 to 5 composition wt. % of a natural polymer. The organic crosslinking agent includes at least one compound from the group of: polyalkyleneimines, polyalkylene polyamines, phenolic compounds combined with formaldehyde, and hydroquinone combined with hexamethylenetetramine. Also, the inorganic crosslinking agent includes at least one metal compound M, wherein M is from the group of: aluminum(III), chromium(III), iron(III), zirconium(III), and any mixture thereof.

摘要: A pigging tool may include a housing positionable in a pipeline. The housing may define a bypass channel that extends along an axis that is nonparallel to a longitudinal axis of the housing. An energy generation device can be positioned in the bypass channel of the housing such that fluid is receivable by the energy generation device to generate energy for the pigging tool. Further, an energy storage device may store energy generated from the energy generation device. The energy storage device may provide the pigging tool with energy to perform one or more operations in the pipeline.

摘要: A downhole chemical reactor can be placed in a downhole environment to generate gas in-situ. This gas can pressurize an inner pressure chamber of the downhole chemical reactor to create a pressure-on-demand source or to maintain a constant pressure reservoir, depending on the configuration of a reactor controller coupled to an inlet of the inner pressure chamber. The inner pressure chamber contains one or more desired chemical reactants and the reactor controller operates to permit well fluid to flow from the wellbore and into the inner pressure chamber. The well fluid reacts with the desired chemical reactants and generates one or more gases such as hydrogen or carbon dioxide. The generated gases pressurize the inner pressure chamber and a pressure regulator coupled to the inner pressure chamber maintains a maximum pressurization of the inner pressure chamber. For a constant pressure reservoir, the reactor controller repeats this cycle indefinitely.

摘要: Provided is a liner hanger, a method, and a well system. The liner hanger, in one aspect, includes a liner hanger body having an expansion section movable from a radially unexpanded state to a radially expanded state in contact with an inside diameter (ID) of a wellbore tubular. The liner hanger may further include a support assembly coupled to the liner hanger body, the support assembly including a support housing, and a mechanical support structure positioned radially inside of the support housing. In one aspect, the mechanical support structure is movable from a first position radially misaligned with the expansion section when the expansion section is in the radially unexpanded state to a second position at least partially radially aligned with the expansion section when the expansion section is in the radially expanded state. The liner hanger, in one aspect, further includes expandable metal coupled to the mechanical support structure.

摘要: Methods and compositions for enhancing the flow rate and heat transfer efficiency of wellbores and/or propped fractures for use in geothermal operations are provided. In some embodiments, the methods comprise: injecting an etching agent into an injection inlet of a first wellbore penetrating a first portion of a subterranean formation, wherein the injection inlet is disposed at a first location at or near a surface of the subterranean formation; injecting a working fluid having a first temperature into the injection inlet; allowing at least a portion of the working fluid to flow from the injection inlet to a production outlet of a second wellbore penetrating a second portion of the subterranean formation; and producing the portion of the working fluid out of the production outlet at a first rate and at a second temperature that is higher than the first temperature.

The disclosure is directed to a portable support structure used to receive one or more portable containers of bulk material and output bulk material from the containers directly into the blender hopper. The portable support structure may include a frame for receiving and holding the one or more portable bulk material containers in an elevated position proximate the blender hopper, as well as one or more gravity feed outlets for routing the bulk material from the containers directly into the blender hopper. In some embodiments, the portable support structure may be transported to the well site on a trailer, unloaded from the trailer, and positioned proximate the blender unit. In other embodiments, the portable support structure may be a mobile support structure that is integrated into a trailer unit.
