    摘要: An apparatus for detecting one or more contours of an image formed on a screen. The apparatus comprises a scanner for raster scanning pixels located on scan lines extending in paralllel with each other in the X direction of a two-dimensional coordinate system to successively produce binary pixel data regarding the scanned pixels. The binary pixel data have a first value representing a background forming pixel or a second value representing an object forming pixel. The binary pixel data are transferred to a pixel data matrix stored therein. The pixel data matrix includes pixel data regarding two adjacent pixels located on the next scan line. The latter two adjacent pixels are respectively adjacent to the former two adjacent pixels in the Y direction of the two-dimentional coordinate system. The apparatus also comprises a processing circuit which receives the pixel data matrix transferred thereto from the pixel data matrix forming circuit for producing data indicating the image contour(s).

    摘要: A reactive power processing circuit for a current source GTO invertor in which a reactive current generated from a load of the GTO invertor is rectified by means of a fly wheel circuit and is sent to a capacitor so as to store a commutation surge voltage generated whenever a commutation of the invertor occurs, an excessive charge voltage across the capacitor is regenerated to a direct current output side of a power rectifier, and a pair of GTO (Gate Turn Off Thyristors) thyristors are connected between the capacitor and the direct current output side of the power rectifier in their forward directions so as to carry out a discharge operation for the excessive charge voltage across the capacitor. Consequently, with the number of circuit elements remarkably reduced, the reactive power processing at times of a high-frequency operation and acceleration/deceleration (variable speed) operation of the invertor can be achieved.

    摘要: An unmanned vehicle is so controlled as to travel along a guide line in response to command signals transmitted from a fixed host computer. The vehicle includes a driving motor, a steering motor, a driving motor chopper, a steering motor chopper, a speed detector, an offset (misalignment away from the guide line) detector, a main CPU, etc. Since detected offset values are directly feedbacked to the main CPU through a steering control interface and the steering motor chopper is directly controlled by the main CPU through the steering interface, it is possible to eliminate other CPUs conventionally provided for turning on or off both the choppers, separately. Further, since the duty ratio of the steering motor chopper is controlled by taking into account various factors such as offset values, offset increment values, vehicle speeds, steering correcting directions, etc., it is possible to stably correct vehicle steering misalignment at high response speed even when the vehicle is travelling at high speed along the guide line.

    摘要: An unmanned vehicle is so controlled as to travel along a guide line in response to command signals transmitted from a fixed host computer. The steering misalignment (offset) of the vehicle is corrected by a steering DC motor driven by an AC current, the duty ratio of which is adjusted by a steering motor chopper circuit. Since dead zones within which the misalignment is no longer corrected and duty ratio calculating expression on which chopper duty ratio is determined according to a detected offset are both classified by vehicle speed, it is possible to stably correct vehicle steering misalignment at high response speed even when the vehicle is travelling at high speed along the guide line. Further, when the dead zone and the calculating expression are both classified by discriminating an initial offset from the succeeding offset, it is possible to not only to prevent the vehicle from travelling zigzag along the guide line, but also to reduce the number of rush currents generated in the chopper circuit.

    摘要: In order to define the contour of an ellipse, it is necessary to determine five unknown parameters in the general equation representative of centered conics. When directly applying Hough transformation method to the above equation, since a five-dimensional space is required, it is practically impossible to detect an ellipse because a long processing time and a great amount of memory capacity are inevitably required. To overcome these problems, the geometric properties of an ellipse are determined separately on three parameter sub-spaces obtained on the basis of edge vector field: two-dimensional center histogram and two-dimensional (H, B) histogram, one-dimensional C histogram. A peak value on the center histogram represents a group of ellipse having the same center locations; a peak value on the (H, B) histogram represents a group of concentric ellipse having the same eccentricity and axis slope; a peak value on the C histogram defines a single ellipse. By sequentially selecting these peaks in the three sub-spaces, it is possible to define geometric properties of an ellipse under practical processing conditions. In order to define a plurality of ellipses efficiently, several novel methods have been adopted: separation of the rotation directions of edge vector field, recovery of edge vectors having no mate edge vectors; adoption of least mean square method, etc., in particular.
