摘要： The invention pertains to an apparatus for painting abstract designs on various substrate utilizing pendulum motion. The apparatus includes a frame member from which a pendulum mass is suspended by support cables over a substrate support, free to swing under the influence of gravity, whereby the pendulum mass supports means for painting a pattern on the associated substrate during pendulum movement. 摘要： The apparatus for applying a stripe of colorant to a polymeric surface includes a spring biased, rotatably mounted circular magnet having a predetermined width. Non-magnetic walls extend radially outwardly from the magnet and are biased against the polymeric material. A retainer for holding a mixture of a ferro-magnetic carrier and a non-magnetic colorant is located within the magnetic field of the circular magnet. A rotatably supported roller on the side of the polymeric surface opposite the magnet supports the polymeric surface as it moves.The process of applying a stripe of polymeric colorant to an embossed electrically uncharged polymeric surface including rotating a wheel-shaped magnet, attracting a mixture of ferro-magnetic material acting as a carrier for a polymeric colorant to the magnet and pressing the magnet with the mixture against the polymeric surface. The mixture is placed on the polymeric surface with sufficient pressure so that it is initially held on the polymeric surface by triboelectricity. The process also includes means of outlining the edges of the stripe comprising non-magnetic walls disposed on both sides of the rotating magnet. A protective coating is subsequently applied over the polymeric surface, the colorant.

摘要： According to the present invention, a rotatable brush for combining the tactile qualities of a roller with that of a conventional brush is characterized primarily in that a brush is provided means whereby the tip is made rotatable relative to the holder and adapted to be selectively bent by hand pressure against a drawing surface and rollably moved therealong to produce a stroke of desired width. It comprises, in combination, a hand grip holder having a longitudinal compartment therewithin open at one end; a spindle assembly composed of a spindle, a flexible brush tip disposed about one end thereof, the rest of the spindle rotatably mounted in the hand grip holder. An optional feature of the present invention is the use of an internal feed which further comprises an ink reservoir, an internal passage communicating with the reservoir, a valve means intermediate the tip and internal passage which is operative with the flexure and rotation of the tip for feeding ink thereto, and a vent means extending into the free end of the passage to facilitate, by tongue means, the movement of liquid and air in opposite directions.

摘要： A multi-color writing marker may comprise a tubular marker barrel connected to a motor housing. The marker barrel may house a cartridge removably coupled to a drive shaft connected to a motor. The cartridge may include a plurality of reservoirs containing writing liquids of different colors. A marker tip may be mounted on a distal end of the cartridge. The marker tip supports a plurality of marker nibs corresponding to the number of cartridge reservoirs. Each marker nib may be in fluid communication with a corresponding reservoir. Actuation of the motor spins the cartridge and marker nibs while a user is simultaneous creating a design on the writing surface.
