摘要: Bandoliers of pouches or separate pouches are carried by suction cups on a transfer wheel and operated to hold and release pouches through solenoid valves, each coupled to a respective cup. The solenoid valves are operated by a controller to release pouches from the respective cups at precise angular positions of the wheel to control the configuration of the bandolier in a package or tray. Embodiments provide lateral shifting or rotation of pouches held by the cups. Fold-leading or fold-trailing bandolier configurations are produced. Solenoid valves are disposed proximate cups at the wheel periphery or elsewhere and operably coupled to the cups.

摘要: An apparatus for packaging of loose product includes a loading station, a box forming station and an uploading station. The loading station includes moveable chutes in spaced apart relation. Each chute has an open top, an open upstream end, and an open downstream end. The open top is configured to receive loose product while moving along a first feed path. The box forming station is operable to partially erect boxes in spaced apart relation with first and second open sides and align the first open side of each box with the downstream end of a corresponding chute while moving along a second feed path. The unloading station includes a stationary vacuum head in communication with the second open side of each box. The vacuum head provides a continuous vacuum source along the second feed path operable to move loose product from the chute into the boxes.

摘要: Methods and devices are disclosed wherein, following the introduction of a series or string of interconnected bags (2), a number of bags belonging together are automatically deposited in trays (3) in zigzag fashion, physically separated from each other, or automatically wound onto reels (12). Readable information is printed on the bags, which information indicates that the bags belong together, because their contents, usually medicinal tablets, are intended for the same entity. Said entity may for example be persons or animals in a particular department or on a particular floor level of a home for the elderly, a nursing home, a hospital. Said entity may also be a single person or a group of patients who regularly need specific medicines, frequently in exactly the prescribed order and at exact points in time. The medicines in the distributed trays or on the reels can thus be made available to the patients in an individualised manner and in the correct order.

摘要: A device for packaging bags in a box at least comprises a bag supplying device for supplying bags to a pickup position, as well as a transfer device provided with at least one nozzle for moving at least one bag from a pickup position to a depositing position. The device further comprises a flap which is movable from a closed position to an open position and vice versa, under which flap a box can be positioned. The flap is positioned opposite the pickup position in such a manner that a bag can be dragged from the pickup position to the depositing position on the flap in use, during which dragging at least a part of the bottom side of said bag is substantially constantly supported on the pickup position or on the flap.

摘要: An automatic bagging system and method of operation having an intelligent programmable controller is described. Articles are discharged, one at a time, at a rapid rate into compartments of an article receiving housing and are then discharged in a bag. The article receiving housing has hinge gates for guiding the articles in respective ones of the compartments. A detector detects the position of articles being discharged into the article receiving housing and sends article detection signals to a controller. The controller has a programmable processor in which is inputted article loading time lapse data for each of the compartments. The system continuously loads articles into the article receiving housing and retains a first article during the discharge operation of the housing. The controller also operates the hinge gates after a delay of the time lapse data and in synchronism with the article detection signals. The controller controls the speed of an infeed conveyor, the number of articles to be placed in each of the compartments, the discharge thereof, the operation of the hinge gates and the operation of the holding device to support the first article during the discharge mode and controlling the rate of placement of articles on the infeed conveyor.
