摘要: A process for the separation of a natural gas stream is provided. The process includes receiving an effluent gas flow from a first fractionator operating at a first pressure, splitting the effluent gas flow into a first stream and a second stream, and passing the first stream through a heat exchanger thereby causing a phase change of at least a portion of the first stream from a gaseous state to a liquid state. The process includes inserting the first stream into an upper portion of a second fractionator operating at a second pressure. The second pressure is lower than the first pressure. The process includes inserting the second stream into a lower portion of the second fractionator, and diverting liquids from a lower portion of the second fractionator to the first fractionator.

摘要: Processes are provided for removing contaminants from a refinery gas. Such process can include recovering a process gas comprising ethylene and propylene from a steam cracker effluent recovered from a stream cracker in a steam cracker facility. A refinery gas can be recovered from a refinery facility. The process gas can be compressed in a plurality of compressor stages. A pressure of the refinery gas can be determined. A compressor stage in the plurality of compressor stages can be selected for introducing the refinery gas using the determined pressure of the refinery gas. The refinery gas can be introduced into the selected compressor stage to produce a combined gas that can include the process gas and the refinery gas. At least a portion of one or more impurities can be removed from the combined gas in the steam cracker facility to produce an upgraded combined gas.

摘要: A process and apparatus reboil a propylene splitter bottoms by heat exchange and/or a deethanizer bottoms stream with a compressed propylene splitter overhead stream. Use of single splitter compressor and operation of the propane-propylene splitter column at lower pressure are enabled, whereas conventionally two splitter compressors and higher splitter pressure were necessary to provide a propylene product stream and a propane recycle stream of equivalent quality.

摘要: The present invention is related to an integrated process for enhancing the yields of propylene and other light olefins from Fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) process in combination with Oxidative propane dehydrogenation (OPDH) where in a hydrocarbon stream from Propylene recovery section consisting of propane predominantly, is converted to high value light olefins primarily C3 and C2 olefins by catalytic oxidative dehydrogenation using carbon dioxide from FCC flue gas exiting the regenerator. Several process configurations for the conversion of C3 and C4 alkanes to their respective alkenes separately or simultaneously by integrating with FCC are provided.
