摘要: The present invention provides to a process for recovery of an organic compound (i.e. Ethanol, propanol, butanol, Acetone, iso-propyl alcohol) from a fermented broth which is produced from different fermentation technologies. The present invention particularly relates to an integrated process for ethanol separation from the fermentation broth using integrated vapor compressing unit (turbofans), evaporator (falling film) and a broth stripper column (vacuum distillation system). The process is operated under low temperature for the separation and recovery of the organic compound (particularly ethanol) from the fermented broth containing live microbes typically below or at 50° C. to ensure the activity of the microbes in the broth recycle. Again, the activity of the microbes is further ensured by maintaining the residence time of the microbe containing broth outside the Fermentor is less than or equal to 10 minutes.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for valorization of low-cost alkane rich feedstock. More specifically, the present invention relates to the selective conversion of alkane rich kerosene to value-added products like mono/dicarboxylic acid, fatty acids and biosurfactants using mutant yeast strain and a heterogenous nano-catalyst. The present invention also provides a mutant yeast strain for selective conversion of alkane rich refinery stream from a substrate containing hydrocarbons. The mutant yeast strain of the present invention is able to consume the sulfur content in the feed and results in the desulfurization of the alkane rich feedstock.

摘要: An apparatus and a method for washing hydrocarbon product vapor are disclosed. The apparatus comprises housing, a first wash zone at a predefined cross-section of the housing for receiving the hydrocarbon product vapor, a plurality of injection units located within the first wash zone at predetermined intervals of the length of the housing for receiving wash oil. The injection units inject oil droplets formed from the received wash oil to contact the vapor and obtain a primary washed hydrocarbon vapor within the first wash zone. Further, a second wash zone is located above and in fluid communication with the first wash zone for receiving the primary washed hydrocarbon vapor. One or more spray headers receive wash oil and spray oil droplets formed from the received wash oil to contact with the primary washed hydrocarbon vapor, thereby forming a secondary washed hydrocarbon vapor.

摘要: The present invention relates to development of high performing oil soluble and water dispersible corrosion inhibitor composition for mitigating internal corrosion of crude oil pipelines during storage and transportation of crude oils. The developed composition consists of acid-amine complex as corrosion inhibiting agent, mixture of organic acids as dispersing agent and ester derivative of alkylated phenol for better film formation. The present invention further relates to a process of preparation of the oil soluble and water dispersible corrosion inhibitor composition and subsequently a process for protecting the corrosion of internal metal surface of crude oil transportation pipelines using the corrosion inhibitor composition.

摘要: The present invention provides a process for a production of light olefins and aromatics from cracked light naphtha by selective cracking. The present invention thus provides a process for up grading cracked olefinic naphtha to high value petrochemical feed stocks. This process is based on catalytic cracking in which the catalyst activity is optimized by depositing coke for production of light olefins and aromatics. The proposed process has high flexibility and can be operated either in maximizing olefins as reflected from the PIE ratio or in maximizing aromatics (BTX) at different modes of operation depending upon the product requirement.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for obtaining a high titer of enzyme mixture comprising cellulases, hemicellulases and β-glucosidases in reutilization of waste water generated during hot water extraction of lignocellulosic biomass or biorefinery waste water using Penicillium funiculosum MRJ-16 mutant strain. The cellulose or lignocellulosic biomass used in the fermentation process is selected from the group consisting of rice straw, wheat straw, corn stover, cotton stalk or a combination thereof. The enzyme mixture obtained by the present process is used for the saccharification of acid pretreated lignocellulosic biomass.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for simultaneous production of citric acid and cellulolytic enzymes. The batch process comprising (i) adding slurry of a pre-treated lignocellulosic biomass or cellulose in a fermentation media; (ii) inoculating 10% (v/v) active liquid seed culture of Penicillium funiculosum MRJ-16 in the fermentation media of step (i); (iii) subjecting the culture of step (ii) to fermentation in an aerated fermenter at a temperature of 28-33° C. for a duration of 96 hours; and (iv) collecting enzyme broth after fermentation of step (iii) to obtain citric acid and cellulolytic enzymes. The batch and fed-batch process of the present invention results in high titer production of citric acid and cellulolytic enzymes in a single step and using single microbial strain.

摘要: Organic sulfur compounds which are generally present in the crude oil undergoes various transformations while processing the crude oil in the secondary processing units such as fluid catalytic cracker, hydrocracker, delayed coker, visbreaker, etc. The sulfur present in the feed which enters into these secondary processing units are distributed into various products coming out of the units. Sulfur compounds which are present in the various product fractions are removed to meet the desired specifications before routing to the final product pool. Conventionally, sulfur present in the LPG has been removed by amine treatment followed by caustic and water wash. The present invention relates to a process for removal of sulfur and other impurities from Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) comprising olefins through reactive desulfurization route. The present invention is an eco-friendly process as it minimizes or eliminates the use of caustic which is conventionally used to remove the sulfur from LPG.
