    摘要: A drilling apparatus including a drill is disclosed for use with a mine roof bolter. The apparatus includes a support adapted to rotate the drill about two different axes. The first axis may be a vertical axis and the second axis may be a horizontal axis. The drilling apparatus includes a mast for supporting the drill and allowing relative movement of the drill with respect to the mast. The drilling apparatus additionally includes an element for longitudinally moving the mast with respect to the support. The drilling apparatus may further include a mesh aligner for aligning the mesh with respect to the drill. A drill guide with a small footprint may also be included which is capable retracting within a housing to avoid interference with a face of the mine when positioning the drilling apparatus.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for installation of a rock bolt (124) in a first drill hole by means of a rock bolting rig (100), wherein said rock bolting rig (100) comprises a carrier (101), a boom unit (102) fastened to said carrier (101), and a bolt unit (103) fastened to said boom unit (102) via first joint means (106), wherein said bolt unit (103) comprises a feeder unit (104) including means for displaceable carrying of a drilling machine (105), wherein said bolt unit comprises a first (103A) end and holding means (123, 125) for holding said rock bolt (124). The method comprises: —by means of said first joint means (106) maneuver said first end (103A) of said bolt unit (103) to a first position for loading of a bolt, —when said bolt unit (103) has been maneuvered to said first position for loading of a bolt, providing a rock bolt (124) to said bolt unit (103), for being held by means of said holding means (123, 125), and —when said bolt unit (103) has been loaded with said rock bolt (124), maneuver said bolt unit (103) to a position for installation of said rock bolt (124) and loaded with said rock bolt (124) drilling said first hole and installing said rock bolt (124) in said first hole. The invention also relates to a rock bolting rig.

    摘要: A self-drilling rock bolt assembly (1) including a drill head mechanism (100) and a fluid delivery system (300) operatively associated with each other and adapted in use to secure a self-drilling rock bolt (200) into a strata (2). The rock bolt (200) having a shaft (210) having a cutting end (220) and a driving end (230). The drill head mechanism (100) having a bolt coupling portion (130) to releasably engage with the driving end (230) of the rock bolt (200). Wherein rotation of the bolt coupling portion (130) rotates the rock bolt. A central hollow portion (111) provides access to a fluid connection port (232) of the rock bolt and a nut coupling portion (120) releasably engages with a nut element (250) located on the shaft of the rock bolt. Wherein rotation of the nut coupling portion rotates the nut element. The fluid delivery system (300) has an injection nozzle (320) in communication with one or more sources of fluid for delivering measured quantities of one or more fluids to a predetermined location about said assembly. Each source of fluid including a reservoir (310, 311, 312) in fluid communication with a pump (313, 314, 315). The pump being in fluid communication with the injection nozzle so that said fluid from said reservoir is adapted to be pumped to said predetermined location. Whereby in use said drill head mechanism drives the rock bolt into the strata by rotating in a drilling direction the rock bolt and nut element at the same rate such that the nut element remains in the same position relative to the shaft of the rock bolt.
